Soreness and Canker Sores with Invisalign - Morganton, NC

Well I'm on my second set of aligners, i started these on Thursday and i must say it's getting better. I have the worse time trying to get my top set off but other than that everything has been ok. I did notice some soreness especially at night but otherwise the pain isn't there. No sores! Lol behind my 2 front teeth my gums are very sensitive and still bleed but it's not too severe thst I can't handle it. I've noticed a change in my overbite and I can tell my teeth have moved. Slow progress but I'm hanging in there.

Well I'm only on day 4 with my invisalign braces and I tell ya I wish I had of just went with traditional braces. Soreness...... very sore the first few days but nothing that ibuprofen couldn't handle, 800mg actually. These canker sores are extremely annoying! They hurt bad. My gums on top behind my 2 top teeth are so sore I can barely brush and when it's time to put my braces back in I just want to cry because when they snap on my gums its painful, my gums are so inflamed that they are protruding around my teeth and that can't be good. My tongue even has a canker sore on it and I have one on my bottom lip and on my lower gums behind my teeth. I wasn't aware of the buttons that are so scratchy and I can't even eat anything unless it is soft because my front teeth are just too sensitive right now. I'm 31 years old and I didn't want the metal braces because I felt like I am too old but I wish I had of just had them slapped on and been done with it. Now I understand that metal braces are not that comfortable either, my 12 year son has them, but he doesn't have to go through the inconvenience of taking them in and out just to eat or drink. I don't know...... I'm only on day 4 so I'm hoping it gets better. The smell is another issue but I read that Retainer Brite can be used and works very well to help keep them clean and there's no odor so I'm going to order that soon. I have been using toothpaste because my orthodontist said to but it's not seeming to help and I can't get them completely clean with my toothbrush. If anyone can please tell me what I can use for these sores I'd appreciate it. My process is pretty long close to 2 years and I just hope that with time everything with these will be ok, I won't give up so easily, I'll finish what I started but it's going to be rough if these sores don't ease up.
