Meeting my Goal- One month at a time.

It has been awhile since I have updated but so much has gone on in my life that my surgery has been placed on hold. I just separated from my boyfriend of 7 years and we have a son together. The transition of moving into my new place and splitting custody has taken a toll on my emotionally and physically. I decided to start doing roller derby and I LOVE IT. However during practice I broke my leg and required immediate surgery. I am still recovering but it has out a cramp in my gym routine. Luckily I have a lot of support from my gym and they have helped me modify my workouts. I still have a long journey to go but its a journey I am willing to endure.

Still outtin in work...

My last weigh in was a week ago and I have dropped 4 pounds. It does not seem like a lot but it is something. I do not know if I will reach my goal of 40lbs by March but I will dang sure try. I am still at the gym 4-5 days a week and on a 1100 calorie diet.

I wont lie though, I broke down the other day because I feel like my heart/mind are in the right place but my body does not want to budge.

My name is Ramona, I am 4'-11" and weight 170Lbs. I have one beautiful five year old son. I will not be having anymore children so I have finally decided to focus on myself for a change. I have fluctuated with my weight since I was about 20. When I was 23 I weighed almost 200Lbs. I began to work out and went down to 140lbs. I work out 5 days a week (cardio & weights) but since I gave birth I have not lost any weight. I do see more muscle tone but my stomach is still flabby & weird. I decided to start this "blog" so I could document, encourage and help other women out there who struggle with weight or "flab".

I have done a lot of research including gathering information from this site and I have decided to go to Mexico to do my surgery. My sister will also be doing the surgery with me but I will need to lose about 35lbs between now and January to get the results that I desire.

The procedure that I will be doing is a full Tummy Tuck, Lipo and Butt-lift. I am excited, nervous, overwhelmed, happy and motivated...Lol. I took a few pictures of me (ugh!) that I will share now. Throughout my weight-loss journey (I'll update about once a month so you can see my results) and my surgery I will continue to share pictures and information.
