6 months

Just a quick update, I went in for my 6 month check up, well 6 months and 25 days to be exact, and everything went well. I am still ecstatic about my results and my surgeon is still the best RVA has to offer hands down!! When I look at the before and after pictures that he took I still can’t believe that I looked that way. I made the right decision, no amount of crunches would have taken care of my “hang pouch” and I made the right decision by going with Dr. Gregory Lynam.

3 days shy of being 5 months Post-op

I’m 3 days shy of being 5 months post op and I’m still ecstatically happy about my choice to do my mommy makeover. For the most part I still swell lightly if I’m not wearing a binder or compression garment. Eating salty foods doesn’t help either, I’ve been craving popcorn at night (y’all please pray for me)!!!

Oh, overall I’ve gone from a size 14 jeans to size 10, I’m not mad about it!! I would love to get to a size 8, because I’m 5’9 it looks like I’m smaller but not. Getting back in the gym is going to be priority. I’ve had a lot going on that kinda got me side tracked in reference doing things that I need to do to stay healthy. As women we tend to put everyone before ourselves and forget that we need to care for ourselves as well. My 20 year old had to remind me that I deserve to be cared for “meaning to care for myself” she said mom “were all in college, get it right and do you” I just packed my last one up an August and don’t know what to do with myself!!! Any way I’m venting back to the surgery updates

There is some bulging on my left side that I mentioned before, don’t believe it’s swelling still, however it’s more prominent after I get home from work. I’ll probably look at lipo in that area if I can’t get it gone with exercise. Again my surgeon Dr. Gregory Lynam is the very best!! He is caring and lets you know that he will take good care of you, I have NO regrets!!

Almost at 3 month mark

Side view pretty flat, started back at the gym on the elliptical only, don’t feel ready for crunches yet. Listening to my body. Seems like the consensus is 6 months or more for crunches. My breast have healed very well little to no soreness, scar on my right breast is almost faded. My incision line has healed very well, I haven’t tried any of the scar strips just vitamin E and coconut oil. I am still wearing my binder on my 3rd one, they leave terrible ridges on the skin. I ordered a faja from amazon and it did not work out at all, still looking though. Overall I am still very happy with my results!! The bulge on my left side not sure if it’s swelling or something that needs to be addressed, my right side is fine, so is my belly button!! Will continue to update!!
