Feeling a little better :)

Feeling alittle better about everything. Wish I had a stronger pain med- I should call.

Funny story happened, when I woke up this day, I was swearing up and down that I still had the SAME BOOBS that I had when I walked in there. Everyone disagreed with me so I was hoping I was wrong. I think because they weren’t in any pain, my arms didn’t hurt either.

Showered today Dec3.2018- It was amazing. It was only a very quick one to wash my body because it was very exhausting.

Day After Surgery

Dec 2, 2017
Talk about needing pain pills!! The norco that was prescribed didn’t seem to work either. I rewrapped my breasts and around my tummy tuck incision.

Had a brief moment of “Holy Moly” because I was
A. Missing a tattoo, which was discussed and agreed upon way before surgery. B. There weren’t any piercings on my belly button anymore. (Also discussed) I absolutely love my new belly button? C. Are these mine?

Most of my friends and family knew that I had gone through surgery so it seemed to a never ending range of calls and texts from several people. Which was kind but I was so tired and had no appetite.

Made it to bathroom by myself -sat down did my thing. Focused on using my legs only instead of my abdominal muscles. Seemed to help tremendously.

I was alittle shocked from the bruises on my behind but completely expected them to be there. This was discussed in my pre-op and with the amount of surgery I was getting I thought they would definitely be there. It didn’t bother me.

Waking up after 4 hours of being under.

This was quite interesting. I felt amazing when I woke up. (I know I was in quite a bit of drugs.) I had to eat something small, pee, drink water before I could leave. I was able to do all of these so I was told I could leave about 45 min after I woke up.

To wear out of the hospital, I brought a moo moo shirt that was long enough to cover my backside and could easily be put over my head or pulled up over my legs. I? also brought a button up night gown and a fluffy robe. I? chose the moo moo and the robe.

Now here, is where I struggled and started to get sick. I sat up on the bed and my mom helped me get my legs over the side. My feet were about 3 inches off the ground but every-time I? tried to stretch down to the floor, my body was on fire.

I? went from being happy to unbearable pain for a brief moment. My mom and my nurse helped me walk out. They weren’t a fan of me walking but I didn’t want to have to sit down get up and sit down in the car and then get up.

I don’t remember the drive home which was bout 20 min from my house. I am super glad that I gave my mom the house code number BEFORE surgery.

I was able to go the bathroom painfully and get in my recliner painfully.
