It's almost been a year

I am 36 years old and have had 5 kids. My oldest is 17 and my youngest is 3. They tore my body up. I have been wanting to do a mommy make over for years now, but I keep putting it off. My new years resolution was to lose weight and get the surgery. I have lost 22lbs which was enough to avoid the lipo. I am 5'3 and weight 125 and had my surgery last friday. I was not prepared for this at all. I didn't research before hand because I was afraid that I wouldn't go thru with the surgery.
I had the hardest time coming out of the anesthesia. I was dry heaving and shaking uncontrolably and our 3 hour drive home turned into 6 as I did not take into consideration the memorial weekend traffic. That first day was pretty horrible and I was totally dependent on my husband for everything...I had a blackout spell on day 3 where I felt like I did not have any blood circulating in my body and I seriously thought I was going to die. I decided to get off of the vicodin and anti nausea medicine right then and there and I have been getting better and better by the hour. Here I sit on day 5 post op. I am taking care of myself. Made my own breakfast and I think I am ready for an outing. I wish I could stand completely straight, but I am only at about 95%. My skin is just too tight to let me stand up completly. I guess I should add that I had a tummy tuck, breast lift with 397cc silicone implants. I am going to take a shower now and will post some real before and after pics when I am done.

took a shower and went to the PO box and to Rite Aid.....that took every ounce of energy that I had left....When exactly do you feel somewhat independent again????
