My name is Missy. I am 26 years old and I have decided to get a Breast Augmentation. I am a small person in general but I have always been self conscious on how small my chest is. I have facial scarring from nodular acne (which I'm planning my second surgery for that as well) so, needless to say a small chest was just the cherry on top of miserable years in high school... bottom line, I'm ready to love the way I look and I am super excited about my new transformation. I have done tons of research and have decided to go for the silicone (gummy bear) implants. I am a 34 A and am wanting to go to a full C (not sure how many CC's). I am planning on seeing a few doctors to find the right one for me. My first consultation is on May 14th. I am in the Airforce and have decided to get the procedure done once I get home from my deployment, so I have a while to prepare. I am looking for any advice or tips on this that I can get. I love reading about other ladies and their journey and seeing the before and after pictures. Well thanks for reading and I will update later. later girls!!

So I went to see a doctor last week and I got there 30 min before my appt. I live kind of far so wanted to make sure I got there in time for any paperwork and so on. Well I get there and waited 40 min past my appt. I was livid! The nurses acted like I was'nt even there. Even after every other person had been seen or got called in, they still did not say anything to me. This gave me a very bad vibe about how much this office cares about the possible patients. I welcome any opinions? Does anyone think I over reacted. To me I thought what if I do choose that doctor, is he and his faculty going to really care about my needs, or return my calls and so on....

So I have another appt this coming Monday and hopefully this one goes much better. I have a feeling it will becuase this doctor I am going to see on monday is the only one that actually sent a packet in the mail with information. That's a good sign I thougt, but we shall see how it goes. I'm not in a hurry to make a decision on a doctor but I'm still excited to anyway.

So I went to my second consultation and I think I...

So I went to my second consultation and I think I found my doctor! He was awesome!!! He was easy going, nice, funny and very confident/ proud of his work. He made me feel at ease and answered all my questions without me even having to ask.I totally got the feeling that he can joke around but at the same time be serious about his work. I had the feeling that he would be upfront with me, telling me his opinion even if I didn't agree. His staff was awesome as well. So nice and welcoming. Got my packet and now it's a waiting game until I schedule my appt for surgery. I am deploying in Nov so not planning on getting the procedure done until I get back... It's so far away but I am super excited!
Great review?

I'm sorry your first appointment didn't go well. I wouldn't consider that PS either. You are right, if they don't even act like they care about you when you first visit them, how much care are you going to get later? One of the PS I saw had an office staff that was a bit too uppity for me. I'm a down to earth gal and don't relate well to folks who "put on airs". I think you have to have be comfortable with your PS on many levels in order to feel confident enough to move forward. Hopefully your second appointment will go much better.

Yep, she's Melissa. She's a few years older than you are and she just had her BA/BL a few months ago. She's my inspiration.

You are starting off right. Do lots of research and interview several doctors. Don't be surprised if they all have a different opinion. I saw 3 and they all had different ideas. Look at ALOT of before and after pictures, especially of women who are similar to you in size and breast shape. Make sure that the "afters" from the PS you choose are what you are looking for. It's a big decision and you will make it in your own time. Don't rush yourself. Enjoy the process :-)
