9 days "better"

That's right. It's been 9 days since my surgery and it gets better each day. I had my staples/stitches out at day 7. Dr Harrington said I'm doing everything right, as I'm healing very nicely for only a week. Which means I'm starting to get board not raising my arms, driving, and yes even doing household chores. My new "girls" feel quite strange to me...like not a part of me. They are much smaller than I was or even that I ever remember looking like when I was younger. I'm getting used to them more everyday. I've had people tell me it looks like I've lost 20 pounds because I now have a torso that can be seen. Today I even had a woman look at me and see how "perkey" I looked and asked sheer she could sign up. (She had last seen me the day before I had surgery)

Pain has not been too bad, other than my lower back. That's because I am a side sleeper and for now I have to sleep on my back. For that reason alone Ilook forward to the healing process to move along. Of course there are the random shooting pains in my breasts which I'm told are all normal and will continue throughout the healing process.

Dr Harrington has been fabulous to work with. She is reassuring, yet cautious in her words. My husband likes her straight-forward and easy to understand explanations. He's been good to me too and following her expectations of him.

I will post more and trying to decide on posting my pictures.

Breast Reduction/Lipo ...60 hours later

Well, there have not been much for changes. I could see tonight that the compression strip around my hips has lots of dried blood. It didn't yesterday. H'mm
I have been achy all over today and flushed in the face. No fever though. I was going to shower today/night, but my husband has not been around. I feel like I need air on my body. The down side is the constipation from pain meds. I'll have to take something tonight. Not a lot of petite, but that could be from being bloated. I will check back...

Breast reduction and hip lipo

Well I'm 35 hours into it. Very sore tonight. Lots of bruising where lipo was. I am a lot smaller, sitting pretty high. Will see what happens with swelling. Continuing to pray.

I will review and post pictures later. Dr. Harrington and her staff are GREAT. I have been treated with the utmost respect at each visit. Even though I have not yet had my surgery, I feel totally confident in my surgeon. My fears are within myself and not with her abilities. I really have no idea what the cost will be. My out of pocket so far for the cool sculpt and upcoming lipo is $6300. My ins. Will pay for the reduction only.
