Celebrating one month postop TT -- Yay me :)

Hello RS ladies, well I hit a milestone. It's officially been one month since my tummy tuck and every day is better and better. My turning point for feeling fairly good was three weeks and four weeks for really starting to move. I'm still restricted as to what I can do but my doctor did say I could do elliptical and walk, etc., but no high impact until six weeks. I am happy with that. Right now I am not gaining weight as my appetite is very minimal (has this happened to anyone else?). However, as you can tell from my pictures, I'm still very swollen but I knew this was going to happen so it's really not bothering me too much. This surgery does require patience so I am glad I had this site as it helped me prepare mentally for the long recovery. Hopefully the next time I update I wll actually have a waistline. It seems I am straight up and down lol.

Drainless and loving it :)

I feel like I've reached a milestone as I had my last drain out today. Each week they've injected Kenalog into the drain sites to try and prevent swelling. Right before she took my drain out, she again injected Kenalog into the drain so hopefully that will help a little as right now the top of my abdomen (right above my belly button) and lower abdomen (right below my incision) are very swollen. In fact, I took one picture, decided I was going backward lol and am not going to post any more this week. Just by looking at it, you can tell I don't have much of a waistline yet. Patience. One final thing - I need to get another CG. I feel my binder is not helping with my lower abdomen and I need more compression there. I've read several of you ladies like Marena, Spanx, etc. I want to know if these garments are true to size as far as ordering online or do you recommend I go somewhere and try one on? Thanks in advance. I really appreciate all of you guys updating your path to healing. It's been very helpful to me.

Jennifer Harrington did my surgery October 19, 2015. I LOVE her and would highly recommend her to friends, family and anyone else who will listen to me lol!! She's very "hands-on", called me the night before surgery, walked me into the surgery suite, saw me the next day, called at about 5 days post-op, saw me again at one week and gave me her cell phone number right after surgery to call or text if I had problems. I appreciated how accessible she was.
