I just did Liposonix 2 days ago on my stomach area...

I just did Liposonix 2 days ago on my stomach area. I am not over weight just had one inch of fat that wanted to smooth out. Ok so the procedure is extremely painful! I don't cry often but Liposonix had me crying of pain. It was like laser hair removal multiplied 10 times worse. They do give you a Xanax and a pain pill to take before hand but that really didn't help me. I suggest take those pills at least one hour before so they kick in asap. Again the pain was traumatizing. You feel the burn every second of it. They don't administer anesthesia because it would make the price of the procedure too expensive.

They want to market this thing like if its quick, no down time, non invasive. But anesthesia should be administered. Horrible pain!!! cant tell you enough. As of today (2days later) I don't see any difference. its like I did nothing. Not the slightest difference and this is making me nervous. I did not bruise that much because I took Arnica four days in advance and still taking it. I called the office today and asked them how long does it take for the results to show and they told me 3-6 months! I will keep you guys posted.

It has been 12 days since I did liposonix and I see no results. I can't help think this was a scam and I fell for it. I have had lipo and smart lipo before and you instantly see the difference and as time goes by the results get better and better. With Liposonix you don't see results! It is a waste of money and time and so painful. I am not over weight. I didnt even have enough fat to be a candidate for lipo on my stomach and still liposonix did NOT work! Can't believe I wasted 1,000$!!! So upset so disappointed. My advice to any one considering this is to NOT do Liposonix, do lipo or smart lipo where the fat is actually extracted out of your body.

I can't fully rate Liposonix as of now because I don't see results yet. I should wait a few months. Thought the pain was too intense. Will see if that was worth it. I did it in Miami Beach at Dr. Baumann they have a research study there and when you did the study the cost is 1,000 per area the regular price is 5,000 per area.

Thank you for your review! I much enjoyed your "facts" and "feelings" on this procedure. How are we to know what really works and what doesn't without these honest reviews? I ALWAYS read the Not Worth It reviews first as I also believe it's possible that false positive reviews are posted in an attempt to generate business for these expensive "non-evasive" procedures.

Every piece of information I can find about this procedures says that results ARE NOT instantaneous. Results take 8 to 12 weeks. Hopefully the original poster got some good results in the stated timeframe. It is almost a guarantee that NOBODY will get instant results from Liposonix. Liposonix can give only delayed results. I would love to see some research stats on the efficacy of Liposonix 3-months post-op. But reviews that slam Liposonix for not giving INSTANT results aren't helpful. Everybody knows the results won't be instant.

Btw, I looked at your before and after photos and I think the tissue on your abdomen looks much better in your after photo. It looks smoother and more toned. How long after your first picture was that one taken?

Liposonix didn't work for me. I had this procedure done in VA in July with no results. I do not recommend Liposonix.

Im suprised you havent seen any results. You do have to wait the 8-12 weeks up to 4 months in order to see the results. That is why this is a non invasive treatment and not instant results like Lipo. I personally had this treatment done and lost 1.5 inches. I am very satisfied with my results and have already received numerous compliments. So sorry you didn't have the same outcome.

So still I cant see any difference. I don't recommend. I would also be careful on believing all these great reviews because they can be written by bias people whom either work at the clinics or want to fool people. Liposonix didn't work for me. Traditional Liposuction where the fat is actually removed and not left "for your own body to remove" is the surest way to get best results. I wasted my money and time and went through horrible pain for NOTHING. And all that having to wait 6 months to see any results is a bunch of B.S. Even the ppl who performed the procedure for me told me that Liposonix doesn't for for everyone that they didn't see results in most people.

From what I know it can take 12 weeks for you to see the results. It seems as though you have been very negative from the beginning. Why would you do something you were unsure of? Maybe you should have researched it BEFORE! Perhaps stop bad mouthing it and give it time to work, and then give a correct review.

@jch fuuny how you think your psychic and assume that I did not research this lol! OF COURSE I researched this before I did it but guess what? there was not a lot of info or testimonies about Liposonix when I was researching and thus why I am writing a detailed review, step by step month by month so people can get a REAL HONEST review. Furthermore if you did read my reviews you can clearly see that I have been hopeful and went in with the highest hopes. There is difference BETWEEN BEING NEGATIVE AND BEING REAL, I am BEING REAL. It has not worked foe me period. I am writing my experience. This is my review and so stop telling me what to do and what not to do. get a life

I did go back to get some measurements and they weren't sufficient. My upper right stomach was a micro inch smaller but i believe that was due to my working out. I have one more measurement to go.. thanx : )

First, No I am not psychic just responding to your comment. Second, there are over 50 reviews on this site and many on other sites. You are right ,this is your review, and I would not tell you what to do. Hopefully in time you will see good results.

Amen sister! I had mine done August 1st and haven't seen squat. I unfortunately was not part of a study so I wasted $5500. I tried to do research upfront but being a new procedure there was not much available so I relied heavily on the physician recommendation. People hold on to your money...its not worth it if you expect to see changes

I think this is a scammer. You either HAD LIPO OR YOU DIDN'T! But it can't be both......12 Days is not even close to 12 Weeks....If you only paid $1000, well, yeah, you might have got a "lemon".... Yur bad..

First and foremost Debater, of course you can have both lipo and liposonix. Lipo was done on a different area two years ago, my hips and I had smart lipo one year ago on my lower pelvic ares. Liposonix was done on the area of my UPPER stomach where I DIDN'T ever do any lipo or smart lipo, I paid 1000 for a small area and it was a special because they wanted to complete a long study. This was a study price. I am still waiting for the results. So far don't see the difference at all.. I'm told I should wait. We will see what happens. I want more than anyone for this to work, I went thru a lot of pain for it not to work. Let's see if in 3 months there's a difference

Hi there, Everything I've read and research and even the doctor has told me that it takes a minimum of 8 weeks. I'm just at eight weeks and i've noticed almost an inch on my waist.

Hi Nina, I'm sorry that you had a bad experience. I have the treatment done twice and also work for the Doctor who performs the treatment. I had great results and the patients that have come back have also. I had a patient that came in yesterday and its been 7 weeks since her treatment and she lost 3 inches in her abdomen and 3 1/2 in her flanks. It is way too soon for you to see results it takes 8-12 weeks for full results. Please be patient depending on the settings they used you should have great results.

Thank Hope I sure hope you are right and I am wrong. They used 60 Joules the highest possible and it hurt like hell. I really want it to work.

I had the treatment done, and coul not really tell either way. I think the initial measurements were not consistently done with the end measurements, so it could be that I might have lost that inch, BUT 3 to 31/2 inches that is a gross exageration...not even the manufacturer or any doctor claim more than 1 inch loss
