Firstly, I would like to thank all the ladies for their insight and feelings throughout their journey. Without your experiences posted here, I would be very uninformed. SouthernGal30, Bigeasy, Deserveit and Befree thank you.
I started looking at having a BA, hoping I would not need a BL. Hmmm, you really get the "true" picture when you start taking pictures of "them". Not so pretty. After I took the pics, I've become quite self conscious of how they really looked, and I'm finding it hard to feel sexy.
I am in Canada, and due to the higher costs here (double), I will be traveling to the US. At first I had decided on Tijuana because of the "Recovery Hotel" that gets very high ratings. Ultimately, my heart is with Dr. Ghersi in Miami, who is younger and has great results, from what I've read.
I am 2 weeks out today. My husband and I fly to Miami on Sunday, have our consultation on the Monday, and my surgery is booked for Tue morning. I will stay in Miami one full week after surgery for my recovery, my husband will be there for four days after to help, then I'm on my own for a couple of days, to chill and relax. I anticipate a full week of pure rest and recovery.
I know now that I require a lolli pop lift, and I am having saline implants, with the end result being round, high, full C. I have never had "high" breasts, so I'm sure that will take some getting used to.
Right now, my main concern is the stitches when I get home. I am making my lists of items I require today, which I will get from Realself. Not sure if I should be buying extra post surgery support bras or not ? Or will the one I'm sent home in/with be ok for the week ? I don't want to buy post surgery bras until I know how swollen they are. Any suggestions will be appreciated :)
I turned 50 last year, and feel like its now or never. After pics - I'm soon to be down 20 pnds and hoping to feel fabulous, formula is - weight + boobs = fabulous at 50.
For now that's it I guess :) I'll try and chat every couple of days :)

Ok so 9 days away - really Hubby and I travel to...
Ok so 9 days away - really Hubby and I travel to Miami in a week, then pre-op and then the big day. I am glued to this site, and I'm now trying to figure out sizing. I wear a C cup, but I truly don't believe I'm a C, just a lot of extra stuffing to put in the cup. Sooo I could use some help as I don't get a lot pre op visits. I would like high, and round, I think the upper pole height is my concern. I've always had a chest, except it was a rib bone chest, not a booby chest. Does that make sense ? I have no upper pole at all, and I would like to be a D cup, ouch (I was saying full C before). So I'm thinking Moderate Plus saline, under, with somewhere around 400 cc. ?????
I know I need to have major discussion with the ps, but i want high, and full. Any thoughts out there ?
I see a ton of ladies who are sizing 500's and they look great. (Taller and thinner)
I'm 5'4 150lbs (I fluctuate between 140 and 150 every yr) I look fat in the pic's but it is what it is. I train with a trainer 3/4 days a week.
Back to sizing any help would be appreciated :))

Good Morning Ladies
It's not yet 24hrs - surgery was 2 hrs late. Man oh Man they couldnt clear out the recovery rooms as other ladies' rides were LATE. I was getting so ansi, gave one man the dirties look. But he didnt notice as he was too busy answering his phone and didnt even hear the receptionist telling him where to go. Frig I was mad. My husband told me to breath LOL.
Anyway enough negativity. Dr. Ghershi told the hubby that everything went great, and the girls look good. I sept really well, only waking up to take my meds. I know most ladies talk about morning boobs, I have side boobs. Just like when I was pregnant by boobs (swelling ) traveled around to my back. Not too sore - Im staying on my meds though, like clockwork. We tooks pics of my markings, the Doc said 50% of good results are in the markings. I have not taken any pics of my day 1 yet. Probably will do that when we go for our first pre op. So far they look great in the bra. I told the ps to go full 420 and he said he would top them up if he could.
Im making my list (another list) of our questions today, and our appointment is at 11.
Everything feels good - so not much to say. Good luck to all of you who went in yesterday and those going today.

Amazing. I am 50, and I have Breasts of a 20yr old. I had a BL and BA. I personally could not find any pics of Lifts to take to him for my consult, most are not that great. His work is impecible, my full ancor lift scars are bearly there at 15 days. He is young, warm, and approachable, with a great sense of humour. Any future work I might have done, will be with Dr. Ghersi. Thanks Dr. G for the beautiful lift.
