Hello Ladies, well I'm on day 4 now, and feeling...
Hello Ladies, well I'm on day 4 now, and feeling pretty good. Over the past couple of days I've slept alot. I kept up with my meds, and they knocked me out lol sometimes mid sentence. Pain wise, the only real pain I felt was waking up at recovery, chest was so heavy, and nipples stung. But looking back, when ever I sit up I feel the same thing, probably blood circulating the way it should.
ok the boobs, wow they are big ! I listened to everyone who said go a little bigger as when they settle they are smaller. Holy cow, do I have boobs. They look super. Right now they go up to my chin and around to my back (the swelling) but that's exactly what happening when I had my kids. So Dr. Ghersi said moderate profile with 390 to 420 cc. which is exactly what I thought coming into this. Silly me - last minute I said fill em up lol - so I ended up with 440cc each side. OMG I think he did an amazing job on the lift. I was more worried about the lift then the implants. I think somewhere I said "high and tight" well thats what I got.
Thank you Dr. Ghersi and Coral Gables. They do push the girls through for sure, but everyone was happy with their results. I just read a nice lady's post on going to DR, and boy oh boy, I would have died having gone through what she did. She asked that no one comment like "oh sorry for what happened" and such, but holy crap it was bad.
I am here in Miami till Tue, so one week past my date, and I see Dr. G on Monday. Because of this site I have no concerns, I have all my answers. I have a swooosh sound, and found out it's not the implant but fluilds and air pockets in the body. Thanks Ladies, CCmay77 and CountryGal for your insight, this site helps so much, especially when you are traveling to have procedures done. If anyone has any questions, please ask and I will get back to ya, Im just not good at chatting away here. Good luck and happy healing hugs

How long did you have to wait from your consultation till your surgery date?
I'm a little different than most. I didn't have a consult per say. I had pics ready ,and sent them by email to my "coordinater" Yadira. From time i sent in pics to surgery day ,3 weeks. I met Dr Ghersi for the first time on the Monday, day before my surgery. I don't know why but I knew he was the one before i met him. Honestly, I have not seen a lift like he does , and I looked at a lot of lifts online, and I didnt like any of them. His lifts are amazing. I will post more pics as I'm healing. Good luck to you :-)
I am in the same boat as you traveling from MD. The patient coordinator suggested Dr. Hunsaker to do my procedure.
Awww my first response got deleted (damn site). I don't know this Dr., but I did research all of them in the begining, so PLEASE google his name, under different sites. You can request the Dr. you want - I think they "the coordinators" have a vested interest some how. All I can say is, I went with Dr. Ghersi, based on others reviews and pics, and I am so happy I did. And I told him so. He is young, funny, innovative and CARES about the results. Are you having a Lift or a BA ? His lifts are amazing. Wish you well, let me know what you think about what I said :) Hugs
I am getting a lift and going big which is why I am going with hansaker... I did see the issue I think u may be referring to when researching him but I also researched that and saw where the issue came from... I'm not sure if I can go into detail or not on here which is why I tried to keep the response not straight foward. Lol I am also part of another blog and in a group with his patients so I have been getting tons of info! Soooo very excited!! : )

Good Morning Ladies It's not yet 24hrs - surgery...
Good Morning Ladies
It's not yet 24hrs - surgery was 2 hrs late. Man oh Man they couldnt clear out the recovery rooms as other ladies' rides were LATE. I was getting so ansi, gave one man the dirties look. But he didnt notice as he was too busy answering his phone and didnt even hear the receptionist telling him where to go. Frig I was mad. My husband told me to breath LOL.
Anyway enough negativity. Dr. Ghershi told the hubby that everything went great, and the girls look good. I sept really well, only waking up to take my meds. I know most ladies talk about morning boobs, I have side boobs. Just like when I was pregnant by boobs (swelling ) traveled around to my back. Not too sore - Im staying on my meds though, like clockwork. We tooks pics of my markings, the Doc said 50% of good results are in the markings. I have not taken any pics of my day 1 yet. Probably will do that when we go for our first pre op. So far they look great in the bra. I told the ps to go full 420 and he said he would top them up if he could.
Im making my list (another list) of our questions today, and our appointment is at 11.
Everything feels good - so not much to say. Good luck to all of you who went in yesterday and those going today.

Don't overdo it the first day! day 2 and 3 are the roughest (at least I thought they were). And drink lots of water to avoid constipation - never fun! Keep us posted! PS. I got a couple extra surgical bras and was glad I did because I could wash one while wearing another... I felt really uncomfortable if I had it off for more than a couple minutes the first few days. Your PS should be able to give you an extra one at your follow-up!

Hey CCMay - Is your BD in May - Mine too - I had this done to end my 50th years. Feels kinda wierd the have big boobs at 50, never had them before. I healing good. Check the pics. I have major bruised underneath, but I'm not too concerned. I'm looking forward to the drop stage, but I think it's a way's out, so Ill be patient. Thanks for you chats - hope you are doing well :)
Well I have to say you are fabulous at 50! They look so good! You are right. He did a fantastic job with your lift. That was what I was most worried about too. My fantastic doc actually got out a level to make sure his markings for my nips were perfect. Made us laugh. He was/is fantastic! I feel super fortunate to have found such a wonderful surgeon. I read that other review too and felt so bad for her. That would make me sick. I need to post some pics of my ladies dressed up. I love how they look in tank tops. I tried on a strapless sundress today and could hold it up. It was great! You look amazing in your swim top by the way
Oh and my birthday is in September. Virgo kid. ;)

Hey CCMay77 - For sure I'll post the post op. I really don't think he is going to say much. I have a couple of questions, like; How tight should these sports bra's be ? Do i just let the tape fall off ? What is the massaging for ? I want to start walking, is that ok ? Anyway, I'm sure all is good. I fly out on Tue morning. I think that day will test my stamina. I would love to see your girls dressed up, post some pics. Funny mine don't move at all, hubby seems to think they will stay there. I ask tomorrow what can I expect. Anyway - chat soon and I'll post tomorrow ciao for now
