I've been rabidly reading reviews on RealSelf for several months now as I try to prepare for my own breast augmentation (which hopefully will take place in the next year or two.)

I am currently a small B, and I'm hoping to end up measuring an E or F cup, and looking like a DD. In order to reach this goal, I'm considering under the muscle silicone implants (haven't decided whether I want shaped or not yet), probably in the 350cc range or larger. Ultimately I want to have a profile that looks relatively natural though... I'm not a big fan of the super "augmented" look.

I have attached a variety of wish pictures... even though quite clearly not all of them are the same size. My favorite "idol" is Emily Ratajkowski, who I think looks utterly perfect.

Any advice on doctors on the Eastern Seaboard/Florida region would be greatly appreciated! I originally was planning to have my BA back at home in San Diego, but because of my school/job schedule, I probably won't be able to visit long enough for the surgery and recovery time.

hmm I really don't recommend going for the "E" just because it will look, as you mentioned, very "augmented." I'm going for the same goal (EMILY!!) because I have the same body without the implants and want no less than a double D. I'm most likely getting my BA with Dr. Ghersi who is in Miami and NY so I really recommend him out of everyone I did a consultation with, he seems to do beautiful breasts and suggested I do no more than 400cc's to get a double D because I have a small ribcage and am a 34B pre-op.

Thank you for the recommendation! I just looked up Dr. Ghersi, and his gallery of before/after pictures is very impressive. It's also comforting to hear that he is so careful to take his patients' preexisting body types into consideration before recommending implant size...

Corrections to my previous post!

I just realized I wrote that I want to measure an E/F cup, but look like a DD. I made a mistake, mixing up American and some European bra sizes, which vacillate between calling a cup size either "DD" or "E," but which mean the same thing in the end.
In this case, I would like to look like a DD (or E in some European bra sizes), but measure slightly larger... if only because I keep hearing that augmented chests often measure larger than they look! (Which is a phenomenon I don't really understand at all...)

I should also clarify further on my own body type: I am 5'4,'' and weigh 115 pounds. Currently I measure a 32B, and I am slightly pear-shaped with more muscle on my legs than my upper body. I'm relatively active, and try to go to the gym at least 3-4 times a week to lift weights and do some cardio. Unfortunately, since I've become more active, I feel like my chest is getting even smaller! As a result, I wear almost exclusively push up bras. My ultimate goal is for cleavage, and to balance out my lower body in order to have a more hourglass figure.
