Living with a smaller breast size than I would've hoped for, I have been considering breast augmentation since I was 18 years old. I also have type -1 Diabetes that I have had for the majority of my life. Being someone who could potentially face more issues than the average elective surgery candidate, I have been fearful in my willingness to go through with an operation. I built up the courage to go to my first consultation, which happened to be with Dr. Perez-Gurri, after that first meeting I was convinced he would be the ideal doctor to perform the procedure. He took the time to encompass the entire process of the augmentation and ensured me that I was free to ask any questions no matter how trivial. When I mentioned to him that I was a lifelong Diabetic his lack of confidence in the surgery didn’t waiver whatsoever, and he assured me that I like anyone else could go through the process as long as I had my diabetes under control. His knowledge and experience with the disease made me feel so comfortable about going through with the procedure, I was dead set on him being my doctor after meeting him. Everything about the procedure went very smoothly, the staff were all supportive and welcoming and the facility was impeccable especially the operating room. The doctor was very personable and reached out to me after the surgery, which I greatly appreciated. I absolutely loved my experience and only a week out I’m enjoying the results and I’m so happy that I went through with the procedure having Dr. Perez-Gurri as my surgeon. I really cannot express how thankful I am to have been introduced to such a pleasant staff they deserve the highest recognition!
