update

So....well, this will likely be long!!!
Date of surgery - I arrived at 9am for bloodwork - done - asked to come back when they call - I was to be "Next" for surgery. Booked for 1pm. At 1:30, they called and asked me to come back. I was literally around the corner at Marshalls. Met dr. seemed very personable - said he was very experienced. showed me photos - I told him - NO SHELF and natural looking! He looked at my wish pics.
Go in for surgery at 5:30pm (yes waited the entire time). Released from surgery at 1:30am on Tuesday morning! Non coherent - kept trying to wake me using alcohol!
All day that first day - vomiting - non-stop.
Wednesday - cannot get out of bed - exhausted, dehydrated. Husband took me by luggage dolly to the van to bring me in! Couldn't even open my eyes! Get back to the clinic - they gave me 1L of fluids, benydryl, some steriod, something for my gastric track. No response - still couldn't wake up or function - pumped another 1L of fluid - started to wake up. Released to hotel.
Couldn't move, couldn't stay awake, kept trying to drink lots of fluids.
Fly out of Orlando Airport (no idea how I even got on the plane! I wasn't conscious alot!! Couldn't see - couldn't function - shere willpower to not be in the states any longer!
Get on the plane - pass out on the plane. In/out of consciousness!! While actually coherent, ask my husband to take me to the closest ER! (in Canada!)
We landed, he wheelchaired me to the SUV and drove - like crazy home! Dropped off my kids who were beyond scared out of their minds! Drive straight to the ER by our house - ADMITTED!
Within an hour have my first blood transfusion - blood count was 73! After 2 units are injected, a ton of meds - anti-nausia to stop vomiting (still vomiting) - lots of fluids - CAT scan to check that I don't have a bloodclot as I came back positive for bloodclot! CAT revealed no bloodclot. (by the way, this whole time requests were sent to the clinic to find out what they had done to help me - they never, ever sent one thing to the ER!) Another bloodtest to check levels - came back at 80 - another blood transfusion - back to CAT to find the internal bleed that was stopping me from getting levels up - nothing found!
Admitted Friday. No response from clinic entire stay in hospital - released Wednesday - the hospital removed drains - that were stitched in (how someone was suppose to remove these without this information is ridiculous!!!), nurses took amazing care of me and with tons of meds, tons of procedures and ALOT of care - I am out of the hospital.
My opinion - know that you are paying for a medical procedure - NO CARE! No before - no during and certainly no after care! I luckily am Canadian and luckily made it back to Canada and received amazing care! And honestly - it was touch and go on whether I would have survived this if I was still in the states! I certainly would owe a lot more than if I had had the procedure here to begin with! No idea what I look like really - I just got home and have only been able to see myself in a mirror now! I certainly didn't get an opportunity to take photos! I will manage that in the coming days.
I was asked (many times) by the nurses here "was it worth it!?" Well, would I do it again - certainly not! I would only ever have surgery in Canada! When my butt is less swollen and I am hopeful for a perfect butt - and I made it thru to the other side (with no permanent damage - which is yet to be scene), i will answer that question - I certainly cried a ton for this decision - and I OWE my husband for his amazing care - I thank GOD for him every single day!! But, I was also told many times - how did you fly? How did you make it here? How can I person go thru all this and still be okay?! Well, its 3 hrs out of the hospital - I will let you know when I am done this part of the journey - all this - just for a butt - it better freakin be AMAZING!!!

What I was told - 3x the legal limit was removed - how this is possible I am unsure! Upper arms, inner thighs and the torso, back, flanks, crotch area were all lipo'd.
3000-4000cc was put back into my butt cheeks (So far it doesn't look totally ridiculous so I don't know!!)
Dr. was Dr. McAdoo as Dr. Osak cancelled last minute - I don't know how to change the dr on my profile - I tried.

Unbelievable!!!!

So, just got a call - yup 3 days before I am scheduled to go in! And guess what - Dr. Osak isn't able to do my surgery!! He apparently was hurt and is not cleared for surgery they told me - unforeseeable! And won't be available till Late December. I have my flight booked, bought all the stuff - unbelievable! So, they give me the choice to pick an unknown doctor (can't find one thing on him on here!) Dr. Valls?! Or Dr. McAdoo! Please help!! I picked Dr. McAdoo because I can at least find stuff on here about him!

Counting down!!

So, I'm starting to pack - to be honest, I have picked up a few things but I am going to grab things there.
I'm very nervous - finding it hard to sleep.
I told my best friend on Saturday - I haven't told anyone but she is a nurse and I think if I need any post opp care when I get home - I will be calling her! lol. She is totally excited for me!!
Any last minute tips? 5 days to go!!!
