18 days post op

Wow time has flown by but I am finding that I am loving my new girls more and more! It still feels a little weird to do certain things like bath, or reach the top shelf or even bending over and picking up stuff. My right side has a large implant than the left. This was super inconvenient at first because the left used me no trouble at all hardly any pain but this right boob has required a refill of pain pills. I only take them at night or after a really long day but I seriously doubt I will finish this prescription. The most painful part is under my arms. I suppose the skin is adjusting to the extra fit. Ask sometimes it feels like my nipples are very sensitive almost like a pins and needles feeing but all in all things are going good. I have started doing massages twice a day and am still wearing my Steri strips. I have a follow p appointment next week and can’t wait to start my scar cream. I don’t think the scar looks too bad but it will nice to begin doing damage control. If our wondering why my boobs are so shiny it is due to the vitamin e oil I use during my massage. This was not a recommendation from my PS but I use it anyway and it make the massages easier. I haven’t went bra shopping yet ply purchased a few and they are 40D big change from 36a. Also I went to the gym today because I am literally losing my mind. It working out. I walked on the treadmill and did the Stairmaster for about 10 mins. Looking forward to them dropping even more!

Day 4/5 Photos

Post Op Day 4/5

Day 4 /Day 5 Since I forgot to post on Day 4 I am doing a consolidated post about day 4/5. So Day 4 was my post op appointment. I went to see Dr Quigley and have her remove my stiches. That bit was a little painful but the rest of the appointment went by smoothly. Here I am.. Not much change from yesterday. I woke up feeling very sore and tight on my right side and under my right arm. The pain was real. Then I got up took a shower and got dressed and it felt much better. When I got to the Dr Office she went over some common things I should be experiencing now and also gave me some more sterile strips. I was instructed to apply the new strips as the old ones fall off. She also showed us two different type of massage and boy oh boy did this help relieve the pressure. I think up until this point I was afraid to even touch them but when I was massaging them it made it seem more real. The assistant also gave me my implant card which I am super stoked to have. For a moment I was like oh boy I have something moving inside of me lol. Afterwards I went home that night took me some pain pills and went to sleep. I got up one the kids made it home and fixed them a quick dinner and laid right back down again.

Today is Day 5 and I am back at work. Boy oh boy is the pain real. I will def be leaving my laptop here and getting out of here no later than 5:00pm. It felt like I had a yeast infection this morning when I woke up so I applied something to that, then my boobs were so sore I took a muscle relaxer that still doesn’t appear to have worn off yet, then I tried on two pair or work pants and couldn’t even button them up and then I had to walk all the way from the parking garage to my desk carrying a laptop, purse, and lunchbox. No way hosesa. With all that there is no wonder I feel the way I do. I am taking it easy at work. I brought my lunch and declined walking with my coworkers during lunch. I can’t wait to get home and get back in bed lol just two more days then it is the weekend baby
