1 year after birth i was 1kg (50kg) away from prepregnancy weight (49kg) after successfully losing last few kgs with exercising 3x a week and somewhat watching what i ate.. My body was almost back to normal except my belly still had a pot that stuck out at the bottom. after i i eat my upper and lower abdomin would stick out so much, huge bloat! I was told its impossible to lose that pot belly, and that i was the ideal candidate for liposuction because i was the ideal weight but had stubborn deposit of fat i decided to just do it! So i had liposuction on my waist, upper and lower abdomin 2 days ago! It cost $3500 aud (cheapest in australia i found, other places were charging $7000) in melbourne, could have been $3000 but i was quoted the higher fee due to my referral,
Day 1 surgery; i was a bit nervous about the pain and the fact i was havig twilight sedation and i wasnt clear on what that is except i was told under this sedation i would be able to obey instructions but not remember anything when i wake up, well to me it was just like general anaesthesia as i felt like i was asleep the whole time and i dont remember any pain! Thank god! Well i woke up soaking wet from the liquid draining from the cuts in my body, and felt okay, i had all these pads taped to my body to absorp the liquid then i went home and went to bed.. After i woke up the pain killer must have worn off because i was in excruciating pain and could not move from my bed! However after 2 panadol osteo, pain was reduced 90% and i was able to move around again
Day 2 kept talking pain medicine and moved around fine, was cleaning the house etc, removed all the pads no more leaking cuts, wearing compression garment all day cos it feels nice and snug like its sucking my tummy in
Day 3 still taking pain meds but, feel much better but still some shooting pains when moving around, wearing compression garment will wear ot for 2/3 weeks, went shopping, was fairly active as i have an active 1 yo, would be able to go back to a desk job fine,
Results, even though i have swelling and bruising i am already seeing the results, my tummy bulge is gone, everything seems flatter, waist smaller (a bit lop sided for now) numbness and soreness still there, but i think my recovery should be on track as im so active with minimal pain already! If i like the results after 3 days think final result will be amazing! Dr told me he took about 1 litre of fat out, im a bit concerned with scarring where the tubes went in but i look at after pics i havnt noticed any hopefully they will disappear too, will not let partner see my tummy as it looks blue and hard
