2 yrs and some change

WORTH IT$3,100
I'm now 41yrs old and have to say that with a good workout regimen I'm feeling and looking like I did in my late 20's to early 30's. The results from my smart lipo were wonderful but I can't stress enough that to maintain it takes some dedication.

Finding a doctor...I was extremely lucky as I found a really great, knowledgeable board certified plastic surgeon. Dr. Naveen Setty works in McKinney, TX and is one of the best doctor's I've ever come across with great bed side manners. He made me feel extremely comfortable and after my consultation I knew he was the doctor I wanted to perform my surgery.

You still look great. And I agree, we pay so much for Lipo to push us in the right direction, But WE are defiantly responsible for our outcome. You got to have some muscel under neath BEFORE Lipo, and it doesn't end after the Lipo. We have to keep building muscel, do weights, Pilates, is excellent for strengthening & lengthening the body out. I do my cardio in the pool. Variety!!! What ever is your thing. Just do it!! And maybe we can keep in shape!!!
You look great. Did it really take 6 months to see your final results. I am 6 weeks post op and still have lumps, bumps and swelling. I am also petite (5'4 118 lbs)
(Cont) Asian and only needed sculpting and some fat out. I don't see a big difference and I'm concerned that I wasted $$$$ for this. When did u see final result?
My results were immediate but I had a ring around my belly so it was pretty obvious when the fat was removed. It tighten up about 3-4 months post op. That's when all the lumps disappeared. How much did you get removed?
Unfortunately yes... It's when all the swelling, lumps and tightening happens. You'll be there before you know it. I remember feeling like this was a roller coaster ride.. One minute your up then your down... But it does end and things will settle. Good luck!
I just read your review and you look great! I'm having this done next week and I hope to have great results like yours. I exercise 5 x a week a week but after having 2 kids, my stomach doesn't budge! But anyways.. you look awesome and I agree, you have to maintain it with diet and exercise.
Looks great! We’re you put under GA?
Hi, no just local anesthesia in my lower abdomen.

1yr 6 months - still enjoying the results

Sorry it's been so long since my last update. I can say that at this stage my results are pretty stable and everything has settled. I love the look of my results and enjoy wearing fitted shirts instead of the baggy ones that I used to wear. At this point eating better and excercise will be key to keeping this tummy flat for years to come. for those of you looking to have this done, just be realistic about your results and know that maintaining it means you'll have to put in some work :-). Also, make sure you find a great doctor, like I did!

Look great, how do you feel about your skin? Is it tighten as they said Smart lipo help tighten skin ?
You look amazing. I pray my surgery go as well as yours. Take care.
Shocking!! You look perfect
I hear you. Eat right and exercise for sure!!! You look just amazing, great results. I'll be having abs, flanks, and saddlebags done. I'm 60 and I'm realistic about my results. They won't be Bikini worthy. Been there done that, I'm not a kid. But im not going to let this menopausal thing make me feel matronly. I want a smaller waist, I want to look shapely again!! I was a pear..now I'm an apple!! Ha!!! Hard work and resisting certain foods. I exercise 5 days a week, I'm not going to be able to for a while because Feb. 5 2015 I'll have my Lipo done so I'll be out of commission for a while!!! I appreciate your review.
Hope everything went well for you! I'm glad you're not letting age be a road block to looking fabulous- all your hard work exercising will definitelyake you stronger and help keep the figure you're going after. Best of luck!

3 Week Post Op- I finally had my 2.5 week check up...

3 Week Post Op- I finally had my 2.5 week check up with Dr.Setty and we addressed all the issues I was having..lumps, bubble, etc..I must say that by the time my appointment came around the "bubble" had settled down a bit and was not as noticeable.
Dr.Setty stated that the "bubble" was not due to excess fluids trapped but more like air which can happen when when the incision area has sealed trapping in air. He told me this should work it's way through the body and I should see a reduction in a couple of weeks...(when I woke up today I did notice that it was flattening out)
Bumps and lumps...since I'm only 3 weeks out Dr. Setty told me that it's way to early to make a determination about final results. My skin is still working it's self out and I need to give it a few months... which I agree.

What I've been doing: Still wearing my compression garment 24hrs a day and doing some messages on myself at night to loosen up the knots.

I was given the thumbs up to do light to moderate exercise but to keep an eye out for excessive swelling, then I would need to tone it down.

I'll take some additional pictures every week until my 6 week check up.
