Tummy tuck 5 years later

This was one of the hardest decision I have ever had to make but it was the best one I made. I am so happy that I got this tummy tuck. Before I was pregnant my stomach was never an issue it was always my thighs and buttocks that I worried about. It was very hard having a flabby stomach that I had to tuck into my jeans.
I have friends that have gotten tummy tucks and have not eaten well and not worked out and much of it came back and all in the upper stomach. If you do get a tummy tuck ,make sure you still watch what you eat and exercise. I mainly just watch what I eat and do yoga. Almost 50 and look better than when I was 35. I just thought I would post these pictures if anybody is contemplating heavily about a tummy tuck. No regrets!!!

Not much more to say except I am happy the only

regret is I wanted so long! I feel really good and every day get a better. I am praying my tubes come out tomorrow. I look in the mirror too much obsessed on swelling and other imperfections so have decided not to look for awhile. Overall I am surprised by my speedy recovery. I still have pains and get very tired but overall I am happy with how I am feeling and hoping the doctor will let me start walking on treadmill at slow pace. Not sure I have much more to post for awhile as I am back to work and have children. I hope this has helped and if you have any questions I am happy to answer as this is why I posted my story. I was on this site for years reading and looking at picture. Good luck on your journeys!

1st week preop

Had pre-op appt. they have me different binder which is not as tight. Two things that have been annoying to is the itching which he said to use benedryl and the constipation which he said to use mild laxative. My scar looks amazing. I am quite surprised and the nurse just said I had good skin so I will take it. I got one drained removed but the other one will stay until next week. I went to the store and shopped after appt (my first outing) and think I overdid it. I came home a slept for 4 hours. I go back to work tomorrow part time this week from home. Anyone reading this that is about to get surgery, it is for me no where near as awful as I thought it would be but am sure each journey is different. Pictures are from last night day 6.
