Hi I am a patient of Dr. Okoro. I have a bad a metabolism, ate a bad diet, didn't exercise. At 26 I had a huge round stomach. I had shape but I was not happy with my body at all. I am 5'7 & 248 pounds. I researched and found Dr. Okoro in 2014. He was very nice so was his PA Jenny. When I received the cost to Lipo my back (axilla, bra roll, waist) a partial tummy tuck because I haven't had children and lipo of the upper and lower abdomen with OR room fees, anesthesia, and Dr. Fee's it was almost 21,000. I almost panicked. I chose not to do it because of the price, then I would look on IG and see a woman with a nice body and say yes I need this. I need her figure and would decide to do it. To be honest I was back and forth for a long time. At one point after discussing with my mother, I ultimately decided not to go on with the procedure. I tried eating right, exercising but I didn't see the results I wanted. I followed many women who went to the Dominican Republic. I almost considered doing it but then I got nervous about after care, I saw a girl my age was burnt severely and I thought about the cost of being on a burn unit here in the US versus paying more money (almost double) to be safe. I emailed Dr. Okoro and he immediately responded and he had his patient coordinator call me immediately to set up an appointment to discuss further the procedures. During the consultation I wanted my entire stomach, back and arms lipoed he said it was too much, my arms were fine lets just do the partial tummy tuck, lipo the abdomen and back. I was so sad because I wanted my arms to be little also. I will say I am grateful for his advice. Im not a small person and the work he had to do was extensive. I feel like I have the most disgusting body ever and I have so many rolls. I was confident in him and what he can do. He was the Chief Medical Officer of the US Navy twice. I will say I love Georgia Plastics. Everyone there is family from Jenny and Lauren his PA's to all his medical assistants to Lacey his RN, Ms Sussie and Olivia at the front desk. I have never felt so comfortable in such a family environment this is another reason why I was so comfortable.
