I'm 5'5 and 150 pounds. (I gained 20 lbs this year and have no idea what happened. I've never fluctuated and this is the most weight I've ever gained when not pregnant.) Anyway, my pregnancies left me with scarred, stretched skin on my tummy and my abdominal wall got properly shredded, so I always look a few months pregnant (especially after I eat). The photos attached were taken in the morning on an empty stomach. So, realizing I don't want to spend the rest of my youth feeling old, I've set out to get my body put back to the way it was before I had my kids. I started my jouney by setting up a consultation at Georgia Plastic. I only went for a consultation and the staff were both warm and professional. The facilities were nice and the doctor was incredibly kind and knowledgable. After putting me at ease (I was very nervous) and examining my abdomen, she used a touch screen monitor to explain the procedure I would undergo using my photos. She showed the size and location of my future scar, and the results I would see after healing was complete. It was really cool. She said I actually qualify for a mini tuck, but I would get better results with a full tuck because she could sew my abdominal walls back together and actually give me more dramatic results. Even though I won't return, I do not feel that I wasted my $100 consultation fee. They took very clear photos for me and I learned a lot about the best way to go about getting the results I want. However, when I went to accounts after the consultation, the final price quote on a full TT was $11,598!!!! I thought this was crazy because the other reviews on her realself page say much less, and her partner, Dr. Oroko (a realself top doc) actually tells a member in his professional advise response that a TT should cost between 4-8k!! As you can see from my pics, I am not an extreme or difficult case. Feeling disheartened, I called another top doc's office (Colgrove) and talk to his staff. I told them my story and they assured me that the total (out the door) price for TT in their facility was between 5-9k, depending on the needs of the patient. So shortly, if you are a women who can afford the extra 4k, then Celestine is for you. I felt very, very comfortable with her and confident in her abilities. She beams competence, intellegence, and gentleness, but 12k is a deal breaker for me. And I have to admit that I feel slightly misled after reading and watching all the promotional material Oroko has on youtube and realself. Anyway, I'll post again as things unfold. Everyone else's posts are so helpful, I intend to pay it forward.
