In college I let myself go I gained weight I had a horrible break up I didn't exercise I wanted a fresh start a second chance in a sense. I saw Dr okoro and he made me sooo comfortable. He listened to what I wanted and how I wanted to look he didn't try to make me Into anything. I decided to go with the expiril injection to minimize pain it helped soooo much!!!!! It's A few hundred more but it is a must. His staff was kind and very patient to answer all of questions. I decided I wanted to keep my surgery a secret so I went into surgery alone. I wouldn't recommend that I was very nervous and I had anxiety. I even started tearing up the staff comforted me. Sooo after surgery honestly I didn't have a lot of pain more feeling uncomfortable and tight in abdomen. I had on the stage one compression garmet which actually felt good to be snug. I had one JP drain on my right hip. But I leaked fluid like nobody's buisness !!!! I had those surgery pads stuffed around me to catch the leaking I had two incisions under both Breasts from upper abdomen lipo, one on my mons pubis and two on my lower back the on my mons leaked sooo much since he makes an incision at the lowest point I'm glad I had gotten some old sheets and a shower curtain to put under the sheet . They gave me an antibiotic , nausea medicine , pain medication , lovenox Injection to prevent blood clots , an Xanax in case I couldn't sleep I didn't need it. They also had me get a laxative to help me have a bowel movement since anesthesia tends to slow down your digestive system. I didn't have much of an apetite the first two days but I munched on some crackers and soup to take my pain Meds. I'll admit I didn't feel like my myself I couldn't walk upright and I felt "blah ". My body was tired I tired easily. So I stayed in bed most of the day for about the first 3 days. I would also recommend sleeping in a recliner or using pillows to put under ur back knees and feet. Idk y but sleeping flat was uncomfortable. I drank plenty of fluids and I made sure I did get up and just walk around a little or do legs lifts so keep myslef moving. After about 3 days I took a shower n it felt sooo good I had been washing up over sink . But I swelled soooo much after it took an hour to get garment back on. This happened for a few weeks after. I took off about a week for work I'm a healthcare worker so the constant walking actually felt good. I honestly did not have any major complications... Only thing that dang compression garmet bruised me really bad which they have me cream for. And I had to put two wash clothes on my side since it was giving me skin folds on my sides. I also was given lasix to help pull the fluid off. I had 5 free smooth shapes massages which felt really good. Currently I am 3 months post op and done with stage one a two garmet. I ordered another since I still have slight swelling on my tummy. O I kept the JP drain in for about a month it felt weird coming out minded stung. I am overall very pleased with my surgery will update with new pics when I go for my 6 month spot. only thing I I will have to get is an injection on a little fat pocket I have. Not that big a deal considering some ppl have horror stories. Scar is healed and I can barely see it. Great experience overall money well spent
