I really don’t think my experience with Dr....
I really don’t think my experience with Dr. Basner and his staff could have been any more positive and my satisfaction with my results far surpassed expectations. This was the first time I have ever had any cosmetic surgery and figured it would probably be the last, but I can now picture myself considering doing more in the future and Dr. Basner would be my first consultation.
Even though my procedure, chin and neck lipo, isn’t one I would consider major, it was not something I was about to take lightly since it was on my face and I spent a very long researching – a little over 3 years.
I was so tired of the pocket of fat under my chin and along my jaw line making me look overweight even though I have a fairly slim build. This was something that runs in the family and seeing the older generation including my father develop the ‘waddle’ – it was just not an option do nothing to only regret it when I was 60.
After five previous consultations, Basner was the one who seemed absolutely confident he give me the results I wanted without unnecessary surgery or odd techniques. I just wanted to get rid of the excess fat from under my chin and jaw line. Three other doctors wanted to do chin implants. I do not have a very strong chin but it’s not weak. Having read many horror stories of chin augmentation gone wrong, as well as simply having a gut feeling that it was going a step too far for me. I couldn't get used to the idea of a piece of plastic being screwed into my chin and was afraid it would not look natural. I was resolved to find a doctor who could get me there with only liposuction.
Another factor that sold me on Dr. Basner was that he had several before & after photos of males on his website, including ones of the procedure and results I wanted. With all of the other consultations, I left feeling like the doctors were almost annoyed that I wasn’t there for a boob job.
Everything about my experience was wonderful and I always felt at ease that I was making the right decision. His bedside manner was fantastic. The staff was wonderful, friendly, and always professional 100% of the time.
Best of all I look great and now have the confidence that I had dreamed about for literally a decade. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Basner to anyone. He is a wonderful doctor and artful cosmetic surgeon.
