First off, I would like to express how satisfied I am with my hair transplant result that I got done by Dr. Diep about a year ago. I can't tell you enough on how much he made an impact and changed my appearance and my life. Prior to this, believe me, I felt like my life was going downhill because I lost the self-esteem and confidence that I had when I was much younger. At times when I felt like giving up, I didn't and continued to do my research. I stumbled across Dr. Diep's videos on YouTube and watched them repeatedly just because the results I saw was outstanding.
I initially had the consultation via online (due to being out-of-state) and his receptionists were so helpful because they offered and gave me the general information I needed to know before speaking to Dr. Diep. This made my consultation easier because I knew what questions I was going to ask him. I thought I was able to get in for surgery next week or even 2 weeks from my consultation date but I'm not kidding when I say / when the receptionists say he really is booked 3 months in advanced for surgery. So I waited....
The receptionists helped me booked my flight, hotel, and transportation (from airport to clinic and back home).
On my surgery date,, I came in and saw Dr. Diep and spent about 30-45 minutes before heading into the operating room. He spent a lot of time designing my hairline that I would want, and he was very straightforward and honest with what we were discussing. After asking him so many questions, I was finally ready to head in. The surgery itself was just great although long. Dr. Diep along with his nurses were there to chat with me and made me felt really comfortable the whole day. The nurses took such good care of me, providing me minor breaks in between, lunch, and dinner. My whole surgery was about 16 hours (you can imagine how long and tiring I was!) Dr. Diep is very knowledgeable, including his staff and they are very educated. All of them are so generous from attending to my needs and even paying for my cab.
I came back the next day for a hair wash and a check up before I headed back home. All my grafts were still in tact and the girls cleaned up wound and grafts (donor and recipient site) very gentle and they were very cautious of the things that they were doing. After I flew back home, I had some more general questions and the receptionists got back to me so promptly. They advised and showed me how to do hairwash, checking up on how I was feeling / doing and see if there was anything I needed.
I requested to speak to Dr. Diep to show and thank him for the experience and they were able to put me in. I followed precise instructions, what I could and could not, especially NOT wearing a wig or exercise and getting my skin burn. It was pretty difficult not wearing a wig despite the fact that I've been wearing a wig for many years to hide my baldness. Not being able to exercise was another big factor too, but I knew these rules since the nurses told me about it after surgery, Also, I was so glad to not have any infections or complications throughout my recovery phase. Because of the time and money invested into this, I did not not want to waste it all, and that's why I followed exactly the directions.
Now, the results are FINALLY here and I can't tell you enough on how happy and satisfied I am with this!!! This transplant itself, although it was a lot of money, was so worth it and I have never been happier than this. Everything looks so natural and it just blends in so well. One thing I don't have to worry about is not wearing a wig again!
I want to thank Dr. Diep and all of his staff for their effort and time that was being put into me. I wish I can come back just to see you all, but I am so glad I decided to go with Dr. Diep. I can't imagine and would not have any other surgeon to perform a hair transplant procedure than Dr. Diep.
Again, I can't thank you enough for changing my life and bringing back the confidence I once had. It took awhile for me to get here and I am happy to have Dr. Diep and his team along with me on this journey.
