deep plane facelift with fat transfer
Now 4.5 weeks out and increasingly disappointed in my results. All fat is gone with the exception of some ugly little bumps around my left temple. My eyes now feel heavy. They appear smaller as does my mouth. I'm very jowly on the right with hollows in cheeks returning. This is the very thing I asked to correct. See photo attached. The bruises on my thighs lasted longer than the fat that was transplanted to my face. I'm so disgusted right now. A waste of money and 3 weeks of significant downtime.
Volume Loss and Sagging Face Deep Plane FL with Fat Transfer
Deep plane FL with fat transfer-4 weeks out-don't see a huge difference in my appearance. I looked better at 2 weeks post-op when my face was fuller. At that time I was thinking it was worth it. Now, not so much. Right side has lost most of the fat transferred leaving a once again a hollow cheek and jowling. Left side is a bit better. For the cost and the downtime, physical recovery, hiding out at home-I should have done Ulthera & some fillers with fraxel/CO2 laser. Quite disappointing. And I really felt that I had done my homework on this. I thought doing the FL would be money well spent-do it right, do it once, instead of all sorts of band-aid temporary fillers,etc. Again, just disappointing.
4 weeks post deep plane FL & fat transfer
Feeling kind of disappointed. I think I looked better 2 weeks out. I would say 80-90% of fat is already gone and I see some hollowing and jowling on my right side (although an improvement from before-still a disappointment after having undergone the expense, downtime, etc). I think I would have been better off getting Ulthera and some filler. I have a divot under the corner of my left eye since the remaining fat seems to be around my eyes only. This has given my already deep set eyes a smaller appearance-my one feature I really did love was my big round eyes. My thighs still are quite tender from the donor sites. Just disappointed :(
