13 week post op appointment today

Saw the dr today, he says I have retained so many "dissolving stitches", not the norm at all. He says he has about 10 patients now that this has happened to since summer. Claims he's going to contact the company that mfg them. Says he's used the same ones for about 20 years, that the formula must not be the same. (Sucks for me lol)
He gave me a steroid cream to use on my outer corners and upper lid. When I took it to my pharmacy to be filled my pharm. says be oh so careful it must not get in your eyes. Go see the dr in 6 weeks. Grrrr I wish it would just heal rite already!
The end :-/

Glasses, lipstick, and nothing else

Since I stopped the vitamin E the tearing is all but gone. I'm keeping my fingers and everything else that crosses that my tearing problem is solved. I have been annoyed by it for years, and endured three surgeries to make them stop.
I can tell by the lessening of irritation that a lot more stitches have dissolved and I'm more comfortable.
It's a good day in the neighborhood.

8+ week check in

Hi girls, it's been about a month since I updated pictures. I don't think there are many changes for you to see. In pictures I want to share what my scars look like. I'm sad about them. I can hide them with make up, I'm grateful for that.
I'm still not allowed to massage my eyes and everything is stuck to the sides of my face. Still have stitches left over.
I'm really generally happy with my eyes now. I always knew my eyes were hazel, but they were hidden with all the bags. I can actually see my eyes.
Bummer, I'm still tearing as shown in photo. I'm not going to give up on finding and treating my tear problem.
Using Vit E oil and trade off with a scar cream.
Photos taken this evening.
