2 days post op 335cc silicone implants

So I stuck with the size originally suggested by my surgeon and I think I'm happy with the size, though it's too early to tell. I'm all taped up and swollen so not too sure what the results will look like yet, but one thing that I am happy with is that they look pretty natural. I was expecting to wake up to high and round fake looking breasts and getting impatient for them to "drop and fluff" however they seem to have a nice slope.

I do have a question though - is it normal for nipples to look stretched out while the breasts are taped up and will they reduce back to what they were like before? I can't tell if they're stretched due to the tight tape and swelling or because of the implants themselves.

If anyone has experienced this I'd be grateful to know what happened further down the recovery line.

Thanks!

Hi all I've been reading through plenty of posts...

Hi all

I've been reading through plenty of posts on here regarding Breast Augmentation procedures and I have to say it has helped a lot!

I made my final decision to have a BA about a month ago (a friend of mine getting one was the final push i needed!) and I knew I needed to act fast as possible as I'm getting married in October and want everything to be healed as much as possible before then. Not to mention my first dress fitting is the start of September, so the sooner the better really!

Everything has gone quite fast, I was in the clinic every week for 3 weeks leading up to my surgery date (which has been booked for this Friday 3rd July eek!) The first appointment being to express interest and book a consultation with the surgeon, and the second being the consultation with the surgeon and the third being my pre-op health check.

In my consultation with Mr Khan, he was very straight to the point and went through things very fast (which I was warned about) and I told him I was looking for a D/DD cup (I'm currently a 32B). He suggested that I go with 325cc and 335cc implants to get that look, to which I agreed. At that point I thought I would have a chance to try on different sizes in case I disagreed or change my mind - but that never happened. I asked my co-ordinator if I would be able to try different sizes on and she told me I would be able to do that with the nurse at my next appointment.

So my pre-op appointment came around and I was really excited as I thought i was going to be able to try some implant sizes to make sure the surgeon had made the right decision based on what I wanted. After going through all the pre-op and before photo's, I mentioned about sizing and to my surprise she told me that I would have to make another appointment if I wanted to do that. So at this point i was like...my surgery is next week?! How can I have another appointment. She did offer for me to wait but they had 4 more appointments after me and I would have been there all day!

So I guess why i'm posting is for a little advise. I'm starting to worry as my surgery day is fast approaching and i feel kind of rushed? I feel like I'm not sure if the size that was suggested for me is exactly what I want as I never really had the opportunity to debate it or try any other sizes. I discovered the "rice sizing test" which is where you weight out the appropriate amount of rice (in my case 325g and 335g) and put it in the end of some tights, tie them up and pop them in a sports bra. I did this and i'm starting to think that maybe i want to go slightly bigger, however my surgery is in 4 days!

I'm wondering if it's possible to ask for slightly bigger implants the day of my surgery? Perhaps 350cc? Has anybody had a similar experience and changed implant size the day of the surgery? My worst fear of this whole procedure is paying all this money and going through the pain of surgery to come out with breasts that are no bigger than I can make them look in a padded bra. I'm so torn because on some women that have natural breasts similar to mine and have 325cc implants put in look great, but others look a lot smaller than I am looking for so I feel like an extra 25cc would put my mind at rest.

What do you guys think?
