I had my front thighs done a week and a half ago....

I had my front thighs done a week and a half ago. Not much pain during the procedure and felt good enough to go out to lunch with my ride home. The biggest issue was that they put me in XS compression panst and I'm a size medium. It was cutting the curculation off at the knees and the crotch was way to low for me to fit into any pants. That night and the next few days were a little uncomfortable but I managed to have guest over and even went out to dinner with friends - Very bruised but needed no pain meds after the 2nd day.
My doctor said that it would probably be 2 weeks before I felt up to exercising but if I did feel up to it, it would not hinder my recovery. 3 days after the procedure, I decided to see what I was capable doing at the gym - to my surprise I was able to handle 45 mintues of light eliptical with no after pain or additional brusing. At lunch I join in on my usual exercise group and was able to handle most of the exercises, just at a lighter impact level. I found that the longer I sat around, the stiffer I felt and more pain I had in my thighs - so I made sure that I got up from my desk every 30-60 minutes and walked around.
After around 6 days, the bruising was minimal and the pain slight. I am back to my full exercise routine.
After a week in a half, my thighs are now feeling hard and lumpy in all the "grid" areas - I was wondering if that is normal as part of the healing process and that the lumps will smooth out with time (I hope). I have been reading everyone's reviews and no one has mentioned having the area feeling hard.
Note that I was not very happy with the doctor and facility that I went to - Very little instructions other than to get my prescriptions filled prior to the procedure. No recovery information was given to me or the person picking me up and I had to call on the Monday after the procedure to find out how long I should wear the compression pants. I do have a follow up appointment in a month but I would have expected a follow up call or email asking me how I was doing and if I had any questions. Guess I won't be going back there for any future procedures no matter if this works :)
