I just had a full tummy tuck, breast aug, and a hernia repair one week ago today. While it is difficult, it is do-able. You need to make sure that you have help...especially with the children.
I had my 3 kids stay with my sister for the first 3-4 days. This was VERY helpful...I did not want them to see me after surgery.
At this point, I definitely feel so much better. If you can be patient and prepared, you can do it!
Oh no! Why was your date changed?
As far as pain goes, I've heard varying things depending on your pain tolerance, your ability to tolerate pain meds, etc. Have you asked your doctor about a pain pump? Many women rave about them. Others suggest that if you just stay on top of your pain meds without skipping any, you'll be a-okay.
Please keep us posted on how you're feeling pre-op!
I had to change the date because of work :( The doc I'm using doesn't use the pain pump.... I wish he did it would make me feel a lot better lol I will keep everyone posted! I'm so excited :)
I will try to get some pics up soon!
my 2yr old is NYC I cant be alone with her still. She is a handfull. My mother helped me for 6 days she went back home and took my daughter with her. Hubby works from 11a-8:30p. I'm able to drive myself to appts. Shower myself. I'm still taking It ez. I just started walking straight 2 days ago.
Just focus on the END RESULTS and you will b alright.
Would you mind posting the name of your surgeon? It'd be really helpful for other women in your area.
