I had my eyebrows tattooed yesterday and the ends look red and blotchy. They also look like I'm a bit angry. I'm not sure and want an honest opinion. Actually, part of the ends look like they are missing ink in parts. Not sure why. Can someone look at the photos and tell me what you think. I know they need time to heal but they don't seem right.

I'd like your input as the ends of my eyebrows are red and spotty. Most of the ink looks missing at the tails.

Thank you for sharing your review.  Give this some healing time before panicking.  Once it all settles down you can always have a little touch up on the ends if needed.

The shape is not right, blotchiness is where the artist didn't the same depth throughout, redness will go away after a day also the swelling will go down quicker using icepacks. Did the artist give you aftercare ointment & instructions? The scabs comes off in about 4 days time & skin that healed over the pigment will make it look softer. Corrections may be done in 4 weeks time, but I suggest to go to a professional this time

Just healing is all. its normal. apply aquaphor on the 10 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes at night that should help your healing

Hi everyone,

Well I ended up letting them heal and was left with thinner , reddish eyebrows. The shape is fine , but was very pink. I went someplace else to have them touched up , had to more layers added(which helped) but still pinkish. I think I'm in need of another touch up to cover it up. My color is very light taupe which is fine but you can see the pinkish color in the ends. NOT red but pinkish.

"two more layers" typo..... I cover the pinkish tint in the ends with pencil.

I think the key to successful tatoo is the colour of the pigment, I had my eyebrows done in Thailand few years back and asked for dark brown, and the col. Was perfect, it faded a lot now but still no funny col. On the other hand I had my eyelids done here in Australia and she did terrible job, it's dark blue and uneven and blotchy in places:(

It's really important to use grey-toned brown on eyebrows not reddish brown . Is it the ink colour you're worried about?

Yes, I just had them done again a year later. They have healed after a week and you can still see some pinkish red underneath. I'm very pale with reddish undertones to my skin. When I go for the touch up in a month I think I'll ask her to use a green tint with the brown/taupe she used last time.

1st application /Had my brows down the first time almost ***2 years ago. HORRIBLE overworked , deeply scabbed up ends/ resulted in reddish ends.

2nd application- different artist/Had them redone 2nd time/*** a year ago with two retouches a month apart. BETTER/ healed well/ still a little pink on ends/ artist tried her best to correct, but with the same brown taupe mix of pigment.

3rd application/3 rd person/ different artist/ Had them done a 3rd time*** a week ago, to continue to try to cover the pinkish ends. SAME result/ shape fine/ didn't overwork/ brown taupe mix of pigment/
Will go back in a month to get the "retouch" after the application heals in 20 days. Thinking of asking her to do the retouch with a bit of green in the pigment and I'd like them darker. These pictures are after a week.

I had similar issue and researched how to get the ink to fade. RetinA worked for me. Almost invisible nowto the point it doesn't bother me.
