On 1/21 my surgery date I weighed in at 292 lbs today 4/8 my current weight is 248 lbs. Its a lifestyle change, eating habits has changed, and exercising 5 days week. I'm a 35 yrs old mother of one 10yr old son New Orleans raised but Houston leaving a year now. I was Sleeved on last Wednesday 1/21/2015. I feel great the pain from the surgery was very minimal the GAS from the surgery was the WORSE. However soon as I was able to walk once my anesthesia wore off was a release. Now everyday it gets better liquid diet and my walks around my house every two hours helped tremendously with the gas. Now on the road to recovery. Looking forward to a new life a Healthy lifestyle that is. I'm only one week into surgery on tomorrow and I haven't slept with my CPAT machine that is amazing. This wasn't a overnight process for me due to my insurance but its been a great journey. If your here for encouragement be encouraged don't give up you can and will survive. I plan on posting pics of my journey as time progresses.

Dr. Chrisopher Reiley and his staff was great very informative ,answered all my questions made me feel real comfortable. The Hospital staff at West Houston Medical was great even thought the internet don't give them great ratings, all my nurses provided me with excellent bedside services and was there when I needed them.
