14 Months Post Op - still have one implant with a high incision mark.

Although my left implant has fallen nicely into place (and the incision is almost completely hidden in the crease/fold), my RIGHT breast implant is still higher up on my chest and the incision mark is still visible. The right incision was noticeably higher shortly after surgery; bottom line is that it hasn't moved into the crease/fold as the doctor expected it to. I've discussed the possibility of going to see the doctor I originally intended to have the surgery with, Dr. Michael Ciaravino, (now that I am back in Houston) and inquire about a revision surgery.

Looking better

They are starting to settle. I'm still watchful/worried about my right breast implant but everyone says to give it time so that's what I'm going to do.

32 Years Old, Finally Going to Look Good in a Bathing Suit...

I'm a very active woman, physically fit, enjoys hiking, walking, painting, building and cooking. Earlier this year I experienced a head trauma due to a slip and fall accident and it taught me that we only live once. So I went to get my Breast Augmentation because I didn't want to put my life on hold any longer.I'd like to post a follow up to this after I see my doctor tomorrw to see what they can do in terms of correcting the incision/crease marks they created. If they can get in and revise those incisions asap I think that will dramatically help the way my breasts fall into place and take on a more natural shape.

Dr. Seckel is a great doctor, overall, but my surgery results are not optimal. He has a great bedside manner, is very focused on the task at hand and took the time to hash out a few final details with me (to get my approval) before the surgery began. I felt very comfortable and in great hands. The surgery itself was rather short. I was surprised at how quickly I came too and how quickly I was able to be up and moving around. I was a little stiff at home but mostly sleepy. The next morning I went in for my post-op check in with Dr. Seckels colleague, Dr. Nassim and during the checkup we removed my surgery bra and checked to make sure everything looked good. I was given a hand held mirror and couldn't really see my breasts that well, however Dr. Nassim said all was well. He gave me some exercises to start doing twice a day which I have been doing. Unfortunately I may need revision surgery because the right implant incision does not look like it was made correctly.
