My lipo surgery was more than 4 months ago and I'm...

My lipo surgery was more than 4 months ago and I'm very disappointed that I see very little in results.
First, the surgery and recovery was very painful. I was told it would be minor and only last a few days. Instead, I was sore and basically in bed all day for 2 weeks. I was bruised from armpit to knees and very uncomfortable. The doctor/staff gave me the wrong size compression garment so I couldn't even wear it until I went back for a follow up visit to get re-assessed and get a new size. I was also told at that appointment that I could order another compression garment so that I could rotate them when one needed cleaning, which I did. Ordering and shipping took another week. This should have been handled before the surgery.

During recovery, the pain medication made me nauseated but when I relayed this information to the nurse, nothing was offered instead. She told me to alternate with Tylenol. At next appointment, the doctor finally prescribed a different pain reliever. When I asked why this wasn't done earlier, he didn't have an answer. So basically I was bruised, sore, and nauseous for an entire week, which wasn't necessary.

At each follow-up appointment, he checks my skin for 1 minute and then spends the majority of the appointment time taking new pictures. He doesn't even offer to show you the before and after pics. The pics are for his use, not the patient's. Finally, at my last appointment, he brought up the before and after pictures to check the difference. While viewing the pictures of my arms, he paused and kept re-sizing them. It was obvious that there was no change! But he brushed past it and when on to the next. The pictures that showed me from behind are even worse, because the after pictures now show horizontal lines in the back of my legs that weren't there before. When asked about those, again, he just brushed me off.

My stomach is slightly flatter but instead of looking better, it is bumpy and uneven. Again when asked about this, he instead suggests that I need a tummy tuck! The skin isn't hanging or even extra, it's just not tight or smooth because of the lipo surgery, which he caused and he thinks I'm going to pay him more to do this to me again!?! Wrong.

Also, during my last appointment, I asked when the nurse was going to re-measure me. Measurements were taken before the surgery, but I haven't seen them since. All of a sudden, he refused to measure again, telling me that he no longer does this. Why wouldn't a doctor take measurements after a lipo surgery? He just wants me to believe that I look better, but won't prove it through measurements after the pictures tell the real story. Such a waste of my time and money.
