WORTH IT$150

I had my first Accent Laser treatment today. Their was noticeable improvement in my saddle bag area one hour after the treatment. The treatment was painful. The lady completing the treatment knew what she was doing. I will be returning for four more treatments. The good thing is they make sure you are comfortable. Their is also a tool to cool your skin. I am going to use either Mesotherapy or Laser Lipo with the Accent.

Hi Winston,

Welcome to the Accent community. I'm glad it worked so well. Did you have any downtime after the procedure? Glad they gave you cooling cream others have mentioned a burning sensation after the procedure. How's your face today? Please keep us updated and if you have pictures we would love to see them.

Thanks so much for the review,

-Britt

How are you doing now?

I have my first Accent laser facelift on friday in Naperville at a clinic that just open in September 2011. I am a little nervous. Can you comment your results postive and negative how fast you saw results. Waitinf to hear. Thank You LC

That huge burn mark disappeared completely. Now I have moved and have less access to things like Exilis or Alma Laser and in Chicago they seem to like to rip you off and never offer special deals or discounts the way my doctors in LA would help me to afford procedures... So I found that the new machine called, "Vanquish" can work wonders. I did it three times, spaced seven days apart for just my abdomen and side areas but somehow it affected my overall body weight loss. I went from a size 6/8 to a 2/4 in three weeks. Now after that I chickened out and stopped continuing doing the procedures altogether (for a little bit anyhow - I just did one session last Thursday because I'd put on so much weight and already feeling smaller - I'll try to keep going for the full 4-6 sessions because the doctor is letting me pay in installments spaced apart and by then I've already learned my lesson of how much I don't enjoy feeling fat and not fitting into my clothes properly - so I'll be on a reduced calorie diet for rest of life and try harder to do gym but more likely I will do ballet two times a week the rest I'll burn off just by doing my daily work as a writer and busy bee around town looking for work and playing apt search).. so back to where I was, as you see after stopping the treatments and going back to being sedentary while eating all the time... I just puffed up once again - over eating and lack of activity altogether were the culprits. Plus I kind of just got scared away after seeing myself so small while just three weeks ago I was a blimp. I think I felt uncomfortably thin but happily skinny - it's hard to explain, plus I was running low on spending $350-$400/session plus one free treatment session for a total of my three sessions... Anyhow the Vanquish works wonders for me and I'm back at it and feeling better day by day. You just lay there (and as a word of advice: the stiller you are - no movements whatsoever, the better the results. I found out through my provider and she showed me on the monitor screen, it tracks you if you move at all - your hands/feet/anything and then it lessens the penetrating effect I guess), back to laying there... all you feel is calm with just the slightest of warming sensations over the area where the panels are placed (placed just over your skin - almost but not touching). It is done for a duration of 45-60 minutes (I always get the full 60 minutes except one time it only felt like 45mins but I let that one go, probably was my free trial session). Next time, for no additional fee, she's going to also do my small flanks and lower backside fat areas since I do get such severe lower back pain with my weight gaining set-backs - only for 30 minutes but it will help - as she said from now on she'll throw in the free back time. These machines are soooo expensive to operate and own, I feel bad that I can't pay the $1,200/session that I was originally given as there price but who can really afford that?!!! Maybe one day when I make a six-figure salary, but seriously doubt that day will ever come so far with my unsuccessful application and resume with cover letter submissions only to get unresponsive call-backs for interviews and a seemingly genuine lack of interest in my qualifications or what I may have to say to the HR manager. Wish me luck, I know I'll find something good eventually but the weight has got to maintain priority. My background is all in fashion and journalism, and you need to be high energy and ready for anything at all times. It's tough work if you can believe it, hence, my body has got to keep working at a demanding level of proficiency in order for my best place of employment or my next big adventure to be a continued success or better:)

K, thanks for the inquiry...
Try the Vanquish. I'm loving it except for the money part. Lose weight, gain money I thought was how it usually goes... for me it's lose weight, keep losing money:(

Oh sorry to have posted twice was replying to "How are you Doing Now?"
Try the Genesis Laser if you want the laser facelift or go to Azizta Laser & Skin Care and do there $50 Groupon or $150 usual price for there "Laser Facelift," she won't tell me the name of the laser she uses but it definitely made me feel extremely lifted - as if I had just had botox done to forehead and I've never see a more protruding jaw line - my cheekbones too were promptly upright and protruding out more. ALSO IT TEMPORARILY MADE MY UNDER EYE FINE LINES & CREPINESS & DRYNESS JUST TOTALLY SMOOTH OUT AND MY WHOLE FACE WAS GLOWING!!! THEN THE SECOND AND THIRD TIMES THE RESULTS WERE LESS DRASTIC AND KINDA LET ME DOWN A BIT. I THINK SHE DIDN'T DO IT AS LONG AS SHE DID THE FIRST TIME WITH EACH LASER PULSATING LIGHT PINCH LASTING A FEW SECONDS LESS - SHE WAS MOVING THE LASER ACROSS FACE AREAS A BIT TOO ANXIOUSLY TO FINSH TREATMENT MAYBE? I DOUBT YOU'LL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. OH AND YOU CAN ONLY DO IT EVERY TWO WEEKS OTHERWISE AT $50/SESSION I'D BE THERE EVERY WEEK.

K HOPE THAT HELPS!

AZIZTA HAIR & LASER IN SCHAUMBURG AT THE "PHOENIX SPA CENTER" - I KNOW IT LOOKS CHEAP & SCANTY, BUT I'M GLAD I TOOK THE RISK AT ANOTHER WHOLE IN THE WALL TYPE OF SMALL BUSINESSS - SOMETIMES THEY REALLY ARE THE BEST HIDDEN TREASURES.

I've done the alma laser face contouring and it just sucks at that part of the body. It did nothing for me. For stomach and sides it works well though, but not the best you can get for non-invasive facelifting effects. As I said you want the azizta laser facelift laser treatment. Before doing that though, I would first do a genesis session on your face ($150) at "Rejuvinesse spa" in schaumburg as well, then same day directly after, go do the facelift laser and your results will be amazing. The genisis cures the skin, it depletes redness, acne, smooths fine lines, contours a little bit but leaves skin slightly glowing but more so: so, so, so smooth!!! Oh and less I forget - you want poreless skin - this is your best friend, mr. Genisis. Then the facelift at genesis will work even better at deeply penetrating your now knewly awoken and cured skin to lift and temporarily freeze the subcutaneous layers of fat that make skin sag and pull down. That's my ingenious idea anyhow, they'll tell you don't do it, play it safe but the genesis was so pain-free and gentle on my skin - it felt light and wasn't "Overdone." k, later my friends at real self - felt like helping y'all out the best I could. Hope my insights and experiences help you too!!!

I went for my second Accent Laser treatment. I will be looking for another clinic to perform these treatments. The treatments are supposed to be at least one hour. She completed the treatment in 34 minutes. I also had alot of baby oil on me and it smelled foul. Accent Laser firming is operator dependent. I have decided against Laser Liposuction because of sagging skin after surgery. I had one treatment on my saddle bags. Do not allow doctors to encourage you to get Lipo. Do your research and diet, eat healthy, and exercise. Then once you reach your ideal weight. Make sure you continue your health regiment.
What is the name of the clinic where you had accent done. Are you happy with the results?

i totally agree with your statement. surgeons are always pushing lipo bcus they say it's permanent so better investment... bs. i diet, exercise, use my trainer when needed for strength training exercises and i do bi weekly accent xl sessions on abs, flanks, obliques, and just started my under upper arm area. i feel fit, lean, long & my skin is nice & tight:). couldnt ask for much more.

p.s. don't do the exilis- stay far, far away!!! i did a series of exilis sessions for ~2-4 months & at first, i saw great results (similar to the accent xl treatments). that is until the day my supposed "nurse" told me to 'just relax honey & take a lil nap (during the treatment).' i awoke with a painful, scorching burned abdomen that took almost an entire year to heal the abrasions left behind... and (miraculously!) reverse the hypopigmented white colored lined streaks the exilis laser had seared into me. never again, true, it was more of the nurses fault than the machine itself.... but now i have a nurse who makes me tell her every 10 seconds the level
of heat i feel on a scale from 1-3. and she refuses to chit chat with me during the actual
proccedure time. i like her a lot- safety first always!!!!

No. The second visit was only twenty minutes. It should have been longer. Then she kept talking about me applying for credit for Lipo. Saying it would help my credit. I told her I had cash if I decided to get Lipo. My credit does not need any help. This place is the only clinic about 68 miles near my home address that offers Accent Laser. The clinic is called Complete Laser in Hickory, NC. I have located another one in Charlotte, NC which is about 90 miles away. The name of this clinic is Lets Get Thin. The doctor is Michael Girouard. All I can say about this clinic in Charlotte, is they are very disorganized. When I arrived they had no knowledge of an appointment. Called someone with the same name as mine to confirm the appointment.
Did you complain to Complete Laser about the shortness of your second treatment and how did they respond? Have you continued treatment elsewhere and how is it working out? I am considering that company in their Asheville location.
