50 Year Old with Round Abdomen and Weak Stomach Muscles. Great Neck, NY

I am female, about 50 years old. I've tired diets to get rid of my abdomen, always looked like I was around 6 months pregnant, cold not wear t-shirts, wore loose clothing to hide my problem area. Felt uncomfortable sitting with my stomach touching my lap... you get the picture. Also had lax skin on my thighs which made cellulite look worse, stayed away from the beach. I met Dr. Tehrani twice before I decided to do a Lateral Tension Abdominalplasty (TT) and had fat removed from inner thighs (could no longer take the rubbing together). I loved Dr. Tehrani and his staff from the first. They don't try to push you into doing anything; Dr. Tehrani is very honest, kind, and extremely patient. I recently had my procedure and all went well. I have to be honest and say that a TT is not easy; the back pain is the worst, the garment feels very tight, it's difficult to sleep for more than 2-3 hours at a time which is probably best since lying around not good either because you can develop blood clots. I'm on day 5 now so can't provide much more info, other than to say if this is something you want to do, Dr. Tehrani is the greatest and his staff are wonderful. The procedure is pricey, but worth doing it with a reputable doctor.
