Im 25, 5'3" and 170 lbs. 2 years ago I weighed around 120-125. I feel like one day I woke up and I was in someone else's body. Over the course of the past 2 months, I think I've been asked my "due date" at least once a week.
I feel like I should be enjoying life in my young age, and honestly i have just been feeling so self concious about my weight gain I find myself not having a good time when i should be. So instead of complaining about it, I took a huge step and decided to do something about it. First, i obtained a membership at my local gym. However, as many say, Im not seeing the results I hoped for. Sure, i feel much better, but I also want to look better.
I am getting the "wrap around" service which includes upper and lower abdomen, love handles, and waist area. I believe my option will also include my lovely rolling bra strap area! I wish you could hear the excitement in my voice when i talk about it!
I wasn't going to tell any of my friends about my upcoming procedure, but i decided to let the cat out the bag at the last minute since it is next week and i plan to take a 5 day hiatus. Needless to say, some of them are supportive and some think im out of my mind for making such a commitment.
I feel confindent in my decision and I also cant wait to take photos and post for everyone to see.
I've gotten my labwork done, before photos, and pre/post operative care instructions. I will be taking as many pictures as the site will let me... will be updating soon! Wish me luck!

My procedure is in 9 days so i took a few pics for you guys to see what i looked like before the weight gain, and what i look like now... Im not looking for a miracle or thinking i can have that 24 inch waist again. I just want to be comfortable in my own skin again... or comfortable in the skin i purchase :)

The big day is tomorrow and the word excited...
Im hoping I get the results that I want. Im just a little worried that my tummy is too "hard" and rounded (look at the picture that shows my view when Im seated.) ... I was wondering if maybe part of my troubles are from an over stretched and protruding stomach and not so much from fat?!? I don't know. Im not a doctor so Im going to stop speculating and hope for the best...
I received a call from my Dr's office this afternoon to confirm I started taking my antibiotics (started 2 days prior to procedure.) and to remind me to use the special cleanser tonight in the shower and in the morning before I go.
Im excited and extremely tired, so I am going to get some rest and mentally prepare myself for the morning.
Just realized I have no clue how long this is going to take, so I will prepare a playlist for my ipod...

Your Dr performed Smart Lipo on me July 1. She is great. I had a lot of anxiety about the procedure since I have a low tolerance for pain, but I can honestly say my fears were unjustified. It went smoothly. I am sure it will be the same for you since Dr. B gives 150% each time(her words).
The recovery is not a day at the beach but it was well worth it. I've lost 7 inches off of my waist so now I have a waist and I don't look down at fat anymore. Hang in there...follow ALL the instructions and feel free to ask me more details about my experience.
