ONE YEAR!!

I cant believe it has been 1 year since my surgery! This year has flown by! I am fully healed now, the scar on my left boob has improved tremendously! I still say this is the best decision I have ever made, and would do it again! 1 year really? Happy healing to all those going through this, and to anyone reading this that is thinking about doing it, DO IT! My favorite part about having this done, is that I can now wear strapless bras, I actually just got my 1st strapless dress and I love it! Good luck to everyone!!

almost 7 months!

So its been forever since I've updated! It was been almost 7 months since my surgery (seriously? Where has time gone!)! I absolutely love the new boobs! This is the best decision I have ever made for myself! I am currently a size D which may sound big to some people, but they still feel sooo small to me! Even after 7 months, and rough recovery of my left boob, I can still feel them getting smaller. My scars are all healed very nicely and some you can barely see. The scar from my hole under my left boob is far from looking good, but that's ok. Hopefully with time it will look better. If not that's ok too, because I would do it again in a heartbeat. I love how shirts fit now, however nothing in my closet fits right anymore. I will definitely need to go shopping for nee clothes before spring. I am wearing a reg bra now and have been for a few months after I got the ok from my dr. At first it was very weird and akward because I was so use to sports bras. But now I love them! I love that I can just walk into victorias secret grab a bra and walk out. I'm looking forwad to spring so I cab finally get outside and move around and exercise. It seems to be somewhat easier to lose weight now. I have lost about 15-20lbs since surgery give or take a few. But still have more to go. Sometimes I forget that I can run now without getting hit in the face lol but when I do it is nice. If anyone who is reading this, is considering having breast reduction surgery. Stop thinking and do it! I promise you won't regret it! It will be one of the best decisions you could ever do for yourself! Good luck :)

update

So I haven't updated in a while. Thursday will be 11 weeks since I had my surgery. I am finally starting to feel like my old self. After getting sick and poop 6+ stitches and getting a huge "hole" under my left boob because of it. It is finally almost healed up! I don't imagine it will be very pretty under there but at this point I'm just so thankful that new skin has came back and its almost healed up completely! I would post pictures but honestly its hard to look at myself let alone other people wanting to see it. I must say I didnt exactly follow drs orders in order
To get ig healed up. He was wanting me to wash it twice a day with dial soap and peroxide to keep it from getting infected; and then to keep bactracin (sp?) On it and covered up along with my sports bra. After weeks of doing so I finally stopped doing so. 1 because the peroxide was so painful I couldn't stand it anymore. 2 because it was not healing what so ever & 3 the sports bra did nothing but sit on the incison and keep ot irritated. So I ended up finding some neosporin that was a cream & had pain relief in it. Let me tell ya that stuff is a miricle worker!! After a couple days of using that, ditching the sports bras for tanks with the shelf bras and not cleaning it 2 times a day and not using peroxide period it finally started to heal! I can't wait until I can finally stop using gauze and tape! But regardless I would do it again in a heart beat!! So worth it!!
