2 months post opt Salama bbl

I will be 2 months post opt in 2 day (July 3, 2014). I've gone down in swelling significantly and my red blotches are beginning to disappear. At 6 weeks after a bbl a person should be cleared to sit, but I haven't done so. I still use the half yoga roller for driving. I bought a 5" twin mattress topper and cut out a hole, then I made a nest for my butt using a bolster and the boppy pillow for sleeping on my back. When I sit on a chair I also use a bolster because it's softer than the half yoga roller.

I went back to work and the girls I work with have mixed emotions about my butt. Some say it's really big, but I love it! Other girls keep telling my customers I have a fake butt, but it's my own fat, how the hell is it fake? ?? Fake or not it's my business to announce it to my customers. Overall, I'm very happy with my results.

4 weeks post-opt Feeling good

This week marks four weeks post-opt. So far I've received seven manual lymphatic massages with some soft tissue work. I feel so much better after each massage. However, I still feel the firm and irregular bumps in my skin. My massage therapist and I agreed that 12 massages is not enough to smooth out these areas, so I'm committed to for at least 1 yr once a week (52 massages).

I've left the compression garments that Dr. Salama gave me because they weren't compressing my stomach anymore. I bought a Vedette size 32 style 103 (xs) and it doesn't compress anymore either. I bought a Vedette size 28 style 128 (xxxs) and it compresses nicely, but not enough because my board and foams still fit. I also bought a RUBII size xs-m style BR9260, which is great because it has velcro and allows me to tighten when needed.

My only concern is these nasty blotches of red/purple lipo marks on my sides. They look horrible and I'm sad because I've never had marks like these on my body. On a more positive note, I love my booty!! :):)

~Ciao for now

Three weeks post opt

Today marks three weeks since my surgery. I feel great now that all my drains are gone. I've now gotten use to sleeping on my stomach without pain.

I've gotten four massages from three different people, but I don't like any of them. They don't use the ultrasound machine that Celia or Eylenee used back in Aventura. I've also been using my heating pad for 15 min on both the front and the back, then I use my own weight to roll around with my yoga roller. I take 325 mg of iron and drink lots of water.

My only concern is the marks I have on my flanks. Dr. Salama did lipo on my pelvic area and it is super hard... I hope that goes away soon. Overall, I LOVE MY A$$!!!!

Ciao

Dr. Salama has been amazing to me. The staff is great also. The waiting times on Wednesday were very long. The recovery house staff was great and the massage personnel were fantastic. Justin is a good man. My results are still pending so I can't form an opinion on that.
