Mini roll - minimized.

Soooo I'm still swollen and black blue but there seems to be less of a roll when i sit, though its still there. My incision opened a tiny bit on my right hip which is not medically dangerous but is very sore. I think its because my hip bones are prominent and seem to stick out and when I lay down especially maybe this caused the incision to split. Doc just said Bacitracin Ointment and a bandage will do and it'll just close up again, seeing him friday, I hope I can get back to the gym been out of it for almost 2 weeks, this surgery to look great thin is making me fat haha! Im no longer looking for perfection - Ill never be 90 lbs, so I will accept the roll. However, I do hope once the incision settles and fades things will appear more natural looking with time, maybe by 6 mo mark like everyone says. This revision didnt put much of a damper on my Valentines Day, I was able to wear the dress I got, I just wore some small compression shorts under it. My incision was sore but I still had fun with my boyfriend, this healing process has been intense, I never realized 2.5 months in id still be making adjustments to my plans and wardrobe bc of it. I am hoping in another 4 months or so I'll be one of the ladies who say it looks a million times better and it was the best decision ever, bc sometimes when I'm down or in pain or swollen I feel like "UGH why did I do this?" anyone else?

Week 9 PO + 1 Week PO Dog ear revision.

Today marks 1 weeks post dog ear revision. Def. more swelling then before revision, black and blue and sore at new incision site. I started wearing my compression again pretty much all day yesterday and slept in it also I woke up this AM less swollen which was encouraging. I will continue wearing compression more often until the dog ear revision heals more, so maybe 2 more weeks or so. I follow up with PS next Friday. I finished my Antibiotics, still trying to take Bromelin and Arnica (When i remember!) to help my new incisions along. I have had some rather uncomfortable moments post revision, the hips get painful and achy, sleeping on my side is yucky... but it is true when doctors say it is absolutely nothing compared to the initial TT surgery. Anyone who will need this expect some increased swelling and when it happens don't get discouraged! the hours following my revision I looked flat and tight and awesome (for 2 months post anyways) but by the next day i had a bloated belly and two lumpy hips! I will update in a couple weeks once things settle a little more with the revision. Sorry to type so much but I know the dog ear is a common revision and this info may help you all who might need it. 8)

Boobs and Bras. Yay for fat grafts!

My boobs are healing well, waiting for my scars to fade. I am a 34C, which is what I was wearing pre-op but not filling at all (I was probably a B really) but now at least I can make cleavage, so I figured I'd just update on the TATAs since the TT is getting all the attention lately. But YAY I can fill out a bra now!
