Otoplasty - Until now, very pleased.

My ears have been bothering me my entire life, finally I decided that it's time to fix them. I went to surgeon office in my city, talked with him, told him what I want, he advised me to do some blood tests and so on, to see if I am fit for surgery. After two days I brought tests results to him, and he said everything was alright, and after a consultation with him, I decided that the best date for me, was two days after I brought him the results. I went there at 8:30 in the morning, together with my mother, then at around 9 I was in the surgery room, they used local anesthesia, and just like it's excepted I felt nothing at all, one ear took a bit longer, but during all the time I was talking with the surgeon and his assistant. Surgery lasted for about 2 hours, then he wrapped my head with a bandage and gave me an prescription on what should I take, some anti inflammatory pills, which I took for a week, three times a day, pain killers, which I took only two or maybe three first days, and then vitamin C. First night and the second day were the roughest, I had pain, I could not sleep much, once I was close to vomiting in the first night, etc. Two days after surgery, my bandage was changed with a looser one, and then, after five days, my bandage was removed, and I started using headband, and I have been using it since two weeks (surgeron said that I should use headband two weeks day and night, and another two weeks only during the night). And 12 days after surgery my stitches were removed, and surgeon asked me If I want to change anything at my ears, but everything seemed good to me. I was afraid that they were a bit over corrected, but doctor said they were fine, and they will loosen a bit with time. During these two weeks, I had some small leaks from the scars, and something a foul smell, but I believe was because my headband was to tight, and no air was going inside headband, or I don't now really.

P.s. no cartilage was removed, only the cartilage was scratched, and weakened, and then stitched on it's new shape.

I hope everything will end up fine. I will include some photos for you to evaluate the results.

I wanted this done, my entire life, I am 22 years...

I wanted this done, my entire life, I am 22 years old. And I did my ears before six days, today I had my bandage removed at the doctor. He said everything looks fine, and after six days I will go and remove sutures. When swellnes goes, my ears will open up a bit.

Anyway, I am worried because my ears are very swollen. If you have any question, ask!
