I've always hated how heavy my eyelids were, I'm only 28 but its hereditary on my mums side of the family. After considering it for a few years I finally decided to take the plunge. I only had surgery yesterday but thought I would post pics so far an add more as time goes on. Some people seem to be saying they had little or no bruising, that certainly isn't the case for me, but you should know I bruise very easily so I was expecting it. In saying that, my surgeon was amazing and I can already see kind of how my eyes are going to look after swelling and bruising goes down.

I'm now 4 days post op most of the swelling has gone bruising is beginning to go, have my sutures and stitches out in a few days so ill update with a photo then.

I'm a week post op now and I really couldn't be...

I'm a week post op now and I really couldn't be more impressed with the results. Can hardly see the scars at all they aren't even red and I'm told they will just keep fading. Anyone considering this surgery I would say do plenty of research to make sure you get a brilliant surgeon. My surgeon asked me to consider the surgery for at least 2 weeks after my consultation to make sure I was certain and also put me in touch with past clients who had the same procedure. I would defiantly say ask your surgeon to do the same as it really put my mind at rest and any good surgeon will be happy to do this. Hope my review helps as I know it's a really big and scary decision to make.

I'm almost 3 weeks post op now but as my scars are...

I'm almost 3 weeks post op now but as my scars are healing they seem to of gone more red I could hardly see them a week ago and although now they are much smoother they are also much more pink. Has anyone else had the same thing happen?

Great review?

Thank you for sharing, are you able to give the name of the surgeon you used? I am getting consultations from as many oculoplastic surgeons as I can, I have had so many problems in the past, I need to make sure this time it goes well.

arnoldbe gave a great reference to - http://www.drmeronk.com/insidersguide- . He is well known by many for specializing in eye surgeries ( he retired from seeing patients 2-3 yrs. ago, I believe). It is an excellent site and gives reference to what one can expect at different points throughout healing process. You look great, by the way. Thanks for sharing.
