Finished the first 48 trays

I have not updated in quite a while so figured it was time. I have finished with my 48 trays along with Accelerant and it took 6 months. My teeth look much much better than they did before I started but there are still 2 teeth that need tweaking. I was scanned again for my refinements and now I wait. Things have gone very smoothly. There was a period of time when my two lower front teeth were quite loose and I got worried but now that they are supported by actually having other teeth next to them they are much better. I wish I could say that I was done and am praying for only a few refinements cause this does get old. I am including photos in case anyone my age (60) is thinking about this. It is very worth it to be able to smile with confidence.

They look worse before they get better (I hope ;) )

Tray 27 / 48 update. At this point in the process I think my teeth looked better at the tray 16 update than they do now. I feel a lot going on to line up the bottom teeth and only movement in the back on the top now. I had IPR done last week, hence the space between my front teeth that looks like it won't close up until the last 10 trays. You can't see the space when my trays are in. My front bottom teeth feel loose but my ortho checked them and said that they are ok. He mentions refinements each time I go in so I am prepared for a few if needed but really hope it's like 10 at the most. I think he just wants to make sure that I don't expect perfection with the first round.
I had the summer off and am back at work and No one has noticed or has mentioned them yet. Actually since I have had Invisalign, only one person asked if I had a retainer because I was lisping a little that night. It's funny how the lisp comes and goes now and then depending on how a set of trays are fitting at any given moment. Even with that, it's really very mild and can be hidden with a little more concentration on speaking clearly.
How is everyone else doing? I hope all is going well for you all.

Tray 20 update

You know, at my age this process can be a little nerve wracking (not sure if that starts with w or r). Anyway, it doesn't take much to make me worry that things are going wrong. So far, everything that got me worried along the way turned out to be ok. Seems the wiggly teeth mentioned I my last post are normal. The tooth that had me most worried was the one on the bottom that is forward the most. It really has nothing to support it on the sides yet. I am being careful not to bite into anything hard. Other than that things have been uneventful. My teeth are moving along nicely. Currently most of the action is going on with the bottom teeth, they have much further to go than the tops. I am posting a before picture along with a tray 20 update. The lighting was poor so my skin and teeth look much more yellow than they really are.
