3 Months Post Op!!!! The Journey continues....

I have finally made it to 3 months! Things are healing up nicely. I am still not sitting on my butt and still sleeping on my tummy. After my appointment this week I was told maybe another 4 weeks before I can sit :-(. It’s a struggle but I’m doing it to protect my investment! My measurements haven’t changed much since my 6th week and the fat seems to be staying in place back there. I was told to concentrate on massaging my stomach and back more to break up scar tissue that may form after lips, so I will ensure I do that more. Other than that all is well and the healing continues.....

Still on the healing journey

Hey dolls! Just dropping in to say hello! Nothing much has changed....I still have some bruising, and still swell from time to time. I have started to come out of my Faja for about 3 hours a day instead of being in it for 23 hours. I am going back and forth with wearing my full garment and sometimes just the waist cincher....I was told I don’t have to wear the full garment because the butt doesn’t need the support anymore....I did fly to FL one weekend and had to use my BBL pillow on the flight...ugggh....that was uncomfortable!! I am at the 9 weeks post op mark so I don’t know how the girls who have to fly cross country right after surgery do it!! I was on the plane 1.5 hrs and was about to die! I must admit I am getting real tired of sitting on the pillow, however I am going to protect my investment so pillow it is for a while longer....I will take some updated photos at my 3 month mark to show some of the changes my body has made!!

6 Week Post Op visit

Hello Dolls! Well I made it to my 6th week!!! I went in for my Post op appointment and all was GREAT! I was told I was healing fine. One thing I do want to point out is you will not see the surgeon again until your 6 month visit! I’m cool with that because that is how it has been for other surgery’s I have had as well so that didn’t bother me, but for some this may be an issue. The nurse and I laughed about how much I had injected into my butt! 900cc in each cheek! She was like girl I had to go look at your before pics because that is A LOT! Well my a** was super FLAT!!! (Lol) However, it is healing nicely I must say and it looks soooooo natural. All my family and friends thinks so also. I still can’t sit :-( which is such a joy kill, however it isn’t stopping me! I have been to the movies, out to eat, to meetings, my daughters volleyball games and all with my BBL pillow!! I know people probably wonder why I am sitting on it but they don’t dare ask (lol) I really want someone to ask so I can say I have hemroids (LMAO)!!! But seriously I will say the pillow isn’t all that comfortable and I have to get up and stand periodically but hey it works...I also drive with it, again not comfortable but you do what you gotta do! I just had my last lymphatic massage this week (I was going weekly), however now I am going to keep going but for 30 min increments to work on massage towards the scar tissue, so I can get some of that broken up. I’m slowly getting back into real clothes and out of the sweat pants all the time, and it still amazes me how I have that little hump! I was told not to wear jeans just yet but the stretchy jegging type were ok, just make sure they are squeezing my butt. So I did wear a pair of those to a basketball game the other night....Yes I stay in the mirror! And my husband has to touch my butt every morning, when he comes home, and every night!! It’s like his new little toy!(lol). I do still have some swelling and some hard spots on my lower stomach above my incision, but hopefully with my own massage and the professional massages we can work those out. The only pain I have is in my flanks and lower back, only painful to the touch. They are still sensitive after the lipo. I was told that my butt was going to soften up more and drop a little, so things are still gradually changing....But for now that’s it!
