How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

first weightloss surgery meeting with surgeon!

I'm scheduled to meet with the wls surgeon at Mt. Sinai hospital here in Chicago. I go on Jan. 20th to see if he believes this will benefit me and is the best option. I'm leaning toward gastric sleeve because ryn seems like a lot of complications lap band has so many possible problems in read. I'm so excited to start this process. Will def keep you updated :)

WHAT IS GOIN ON WITH MY PROFILE?!?!

So I was following a lot of doctors and would always have a full newsfeed in regards to patients posting about them ect. Now I have 0! And I checked and I'm no longer following anyone I was following. Every time I try and follow them it will say follow but when I go to their profile its says I'm not following them. This is so frustrating :(

WIEGHTLOSS . . . LAP BAND OR GASTRIC SLEEVE

Yesterday was my birthday! I also reached a conclusion on the steps i want to make in life.
So in order to get the best results in the DR I have to lose weight. I am roughly 280 lbs and 5'7! My BMI is a whopping 43. I have government assistance medical card. And I was informed that if your bmi is over 40 you can have weight loss surgery covered! I'm going to two local bariatric information sessions this month! See what steps I have to take. I would love to see someone who went thru this prior to sx like I plan to.
