Hello everyone, I am a mother of one. I am 36 years old. I had gastric bypass surgery in 2010 and went from 307 to 162 lbs. It has been a real ride but I am loving every minute of it! Who told me when I lost all this weight I would look like a raisin in the sun. A lot of loose skin. I did a panniculectomy and extended tummy tuck last year August and loving the results. I do have an anchor scar but who cares I have a flat tummy. I had a hanger let me tell you! I want to have that small waist and big ol but. I also need my legs done as well. I may need a lift. With my research Dr. Yily seems to be the one. I live in Ontario so she would be closest to me. I have so many questions. I sent in for my quote and I know patiently await. How long does it take for her to get back to you. I also wonder how long I will be in the recovery house or should I just go to a resort. With my tummy tuck I was very independent only down for a couple days.

IOkay so heres the deal. I lost 150 lbs and now I have a lot of loose skin in my inner this. I don't know if lipo will tighten the skin or do I need a thigh lift? Has anyone had loose skin and just did lipo? If so what were the results like? Has anyone done a thigh lift with Yily? If so, what were your experiences and how much did she charge? Thanks!

Hey y'all...me and my buddy booked our tickets today. We are going down on April 15, 2013. AHHHHHH.....it's real y'all. OMG. I have been overweight all my life. I was shaped like Sponge Bob Square Pants and now things are coming together. I
just wanted to look regular with out the hanging stomach and rubbing legs. Guys I am feeling like finally I will look normal. It feels like a dream come true. So happy right now!

So I went to my family doctor yesterday. Got the majority of Yily's meds. Only the cream is not availabile on Canada so you will have yo get there. The Heparin needles I need to get clarification on you leave instructions say 40 milligrams but in Canada it goes by units so I'll find out once I do I'll let all my Canadian bbl sisters know.so for all my Canadian ladies out there that have coverage it will work out cheaper to get your meds in Canada rather than going down there and getting them. To iron the vitamin C I had to buy on my own but folic acid was covered under my plan.


Hey bbl sistas......some questions for ya.
1) How much cash should I carry with me?
2) Can I bring ny laptop and phone with me?
3) The first day there we get in the afternoon can I do something or go somewhere the day before?
4) Will I be bed ridden the whole trip? I'm just wondering. I know I am there to recover but just curious if anyone did anything?
5) for the bbl lipo n implants are there major scars?
6) I'm going home nine days after surgery. will I need a nurse for wound care ? I had a tummy tuck and needed a nurse for a little.

Got my meds at my family doctor. Okay ladies everything was covered except for the cream. The Herparin though comes in units in Canada and mg in DR i I have to get clarification. Good morning Dolls! OK for all my dolls in Canada. If you need nurse assistance when you come back from out of country surgery this is what you do. Get your doctor to send doctors orders to CCAC. The website is http://www.ccac-ont.ca/. They will provide wound care, drain care, bathing etc and it is covered by OHIP. They helped me after my tt and it was great. As the doctor sends instructions you get a nurse or and supplies. They will even take out drains. I know that I will come back with my drains. Hope this helps!

Hey guys needing some guidance from you all. Met with my plastic surgeon today who I beleive had valid concern about me going to DR for surgery. #1. She said if anything major was to happen to me ex. blood clot etc how quickly would I be treated and what is the standard of care I would get and how it may or may not differ. #2 The price of breast implant are low...what quality of implant am I getting? Two implants in Canada are $4000...so she is questioning the quality? She was against me doing a thigh lift or any sort of surgery that required major cutting. Off the record lipo and fat grafting or breast implants (if I brought my own lol)was ok but she gave me the eye. She hugged me bye twice saying I like you I wanna see you again, in one piece, without a ventilator. We both have sick sense of humor and its like talking to my girlfriend. So this raised some questions. I am still going to Yily because I feel confident in what she can do and her level of care based on her past clients. My questions are:
1. With the bbl...is this just lipo and injecting fat to the buttock? Or are there cuts and rolling the bottom of the bum upward? Can someone tell me the bbl process that the plastic surgeon explained to you? BTW...even though I haven't heard of this happening down there she told me and I am passing it on. Any lipo more than 5 liters is not safe. Can kill you. Just passing info.

2. Implants...are they gel or silicone? Do we know the manufacturer? Have you seen the implant before it goes in. Are they good quality. Can they pop or burst inside you? What materials are on the inside? How do they feel inside.

She also told me lipo won't make sense for me with all the extra skin. So I won't be greedy. I am also gonna opt for the medical insurance. Does anyone know what that covers? Just curious. Thanks guys. Not being a negative Nilly just asking so I am informed.

So I decided to change Doctors to Dr. Duran. I found her to be more responsive. I do not doubt Yilys expertise but I felt Dr. Duran was right for me and what I want. I also like that she does not do more than four surgeries per day as she told me. I am doing a breast lift with implants, liposuction with fat graft.

Iron lesson 101 my dolls. Iron is very important to surgery. It can make or break you and delay your surgery and cost you extra money in transfusions and iron treatments. Knowing that we have some time before surgery the first thing we must do is check our iron levels. I was shocked to find out mine was 9! The recommended daily allowance for an average woman aged 18-50 is 18 mg. Iron levels is not something that will change over a week. It takes weeks even months to correct. So I did my research and am sharing so we all are at our best when we are down there. It is important to take your iron with vitamin C as it aids in absorbsion! Add some strawberries to your spinach salad. Easy as that or take your iron and vitamin C pill together on an empty stomach. Do not take iron with Calcium or Vitamin D actually works against iron absorption. Always wait 2 to 3 hours between taking thos vitamins. Always remember to take a stool softner or laxative as you can become constipated. Here is a listing of iron rich foods: Brazilian nuts, shellfish (clams, oysters, shrimp), chicken or beef livers, canned tuna, sunflower seeds, iron fortified cereals, bacon, pork chops, seafood, dark leafy greens such as spinach, kale, lentils and many more.
