50 Yr Old Gastric Bypass Patient - Denver, CO

Went to the gym yesterday. Met my personal trainer. Wow, what a difference it makes having a personal trainer! She helped so much in explaining things to me and making sure I had great form when exercising. It felt so fantastic to work my body and I did not do so badly! It will be a challenge to learn how to balance on the exercise ball. I made a scene when on it for the first time....screaming ahhhhhh.... afraid I was going to fall off. I am a little sore today but not too bad. My hip was acting up this morning but I have degenerative arthritis so it is to be expected. The only thing I did not like was looking into that big wall covering mirror when you work out to see how you are doing on form. I not only saw how my form was but also every flaw on my entire face and body!!!! Oh how I do not like those mirrors! I need a facelift! Saw my arm scar when I lifted my arm and part of it was sticking out and it was so red-purple....ugly. Reminded me of Frankenstein. I told the trainer I was scheduled to get a thigh lift in June and she said she could not see that I needed one....well thats because I was wearing very tight Yoga pants which holds it all in. I got home after working out to find my husband curled up into a ball, very grey and clammy. He has the stomach flew. Took him to the ER two times last night. Both ends for hours upon hours. My 18 year old son has the same flew. Now I feel like a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. I got 3 hrs of rest last night. I am so stressed out......tick, tick, tick....

Well found my old fat pants and decided to try them on. It is nice to fit in only one leg.
