5 months after lower bleph
I mentioned in a post that I planned to have Dr Van Raalte perform a lower bleph - mainly because the troughs under my eyes seemed deep and were starting to darken due to thinning skin (age related). Pictures taken two days ago are posted. I will be 48 this year and lead an especially busy/stressful life so I am rather pleased with the youthful look Dr Van Raalte has helped me to maintain. The results are from the 2011 fat transfer and the 2016 lower bleph. I do not use fillers, botox, or any other "help". I do try to eat healthy, exercise regularly, and wear high SPF sunscreen daily to lessen sun damage since I am a natural ginger.

Response Re: before and after pics with no smiles
Hi, I used the before and after pictures taken by Iowa Plastic Surgery in my review. I don't have any personal pictures before where I am not smiling that I can think of. I have a few after pictures but have at least a half grin. Dr Van Raalte is, in my opinion, is the best cosmetic surgeon in the area. Consultations are honest, informative, and comfortable. His staff is knowledgeable, kind, and caring. He and his staff work well together during procedures. The results prove he has very skillful hands and an abundance of talent. I would not chance going to another cosmetic surgeon. He will always be my choice.
