I am progressing. I noticed more issues. When I wear fitted clothes around my stomach it loses shape (ugly) :( In addition if I lean to the left or right or forward, I have a little sagging. I think it is the lack of elasticity in my skin. I have lots of stretch marks. My doctor did look before the mini tummy tuck and this caused some of the distorted appearance. I think your doctor should know whether or not to do this but it is based on experience of the physician

I have been considering a TT since my daughter was born 7 years ago. Everyone said I didn't need one and that I looked fine but I did not feel fine. I work hard and am a single mother and just wanted to build my confidence for dating again. I am 5'3" and 120 lbs. I eat well and I exercise fairly regularly. No matter what I did I could not correct the bulge in my belly. I did not care too much about the stretch marks but I wanted a flat tummy again and a belly button that did not pertrude. My doctor told me I had diatesis rectus and an umbilical hernia.

I thought I did my research well but I don't think I did. I believe that multiple opinions are necessary. I got two and went with the first opinion I received and also the lower of the quotes (never base your decision on this).

The procedure went fine. The pain was bad. I still have swelling, numbness, and aching at two weeks post. I am moving slow and feel like I have issues standing up straight. I have some back aches too that are starting to concern me.

Before the procedure the discussions were good (I thought). I feel now I need a full tummy tuck and I don't think he asked me questions or explained clearly rather the results I wanted were realistic with this procedure. After the procedure, the conversation in my follow up visit was rushed and a little dismissive in my opinion. I however just shared my concerns with my results with my doctor via email this evening so I don't know what his response will be.
