After one year the jowls had reappeared, under chin fallen, deep lines from nose to mouth reappeared. I am still paying the bill, but my look is as it was. I do not smoke, do not drink, do not stay in the sun. I regret not spending a bit more and getting a procedure that lasted. My husband and friends agree I got screwed by a charlatan d"doctor". My friends who had thought of getting one feel sorry for me, but are going elsewhere. You should too

The first 3 months the lift looked good. Then the lines from nose to mouth began to deepen and in less than a year they were again deep. The area under my chin began falling on both sides. I was disappointed after just a year. At 18 months it is almost back to pre surgery status. I am so disappointed. My friends who were considering a lift are not doing it because of my experience. I am still paying, but it did not last at all.

I KNOW JUST HOW YOU FEEL.... I HAD THE SAME RESULTS WITH
THAT OUTFIT....THEY NEED TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR
FALSE ADVERTISING.....

I agree! They should take extra knowledge on what product they are going to advertise because they might not know it will just bring bad things to them.

Cefos, thanks for posting your review. It is so important that people who are considering this 'SURGERY" to be informed... many have suffered the same results and worse including permanent visible scarring, pixie ears, uneven cuts, lopsided ears, a choking feeling after surgery that lasts for many years, etc. The reviews that women put up here are not taken seriously, the attitude that "this couldn't possibly happen to me" is just not the right state of mind to be in when considering this surgery. It is so important to be informed and to get at least 2 opinions from a board certified facial plastic surgeons. LSL uses catch phrases like in just one hour you can turn back the hands of time, makes it sound simple and easy, just not the reality of what really happens. I too had the surgery and encountered many problems. Thank you so much for taking the time to post your review and warn others of what could happen to them if you don't do your homework. You certainly would not hire a plumber or any other professional to do a job with a 53% approval rating. The advertising that is being used is misleading, target marketing women of a specific age group. In reality, private plastic surgeons who have the experience and expertise to do the same type of lift can be just as competitive using a local anesthetic. Be careful and aware consumers. Best, Chrystal Eckes

I have to disagree. I am very happy with the procedure. Again, go back to the surgeon if not happy and file a complaint with him. Jacs

What you write does not add up. Scarring, uneven ears, pixie ears....you are frightening people from having a very valuble procedure.

JacFlash, I am telling the truth, my bill from my revision surgeon proves it! It is not for everyone. I do hope to make people stop and think and to get a 2nd opinion before having this surgery. A cookie cutter procedure does not make a Dr. qualified to perform surgery on everyone. Even one of LSL's own doctors posted here on realself.com "BUYER BEWARE". So, if I or any other woman who has had bad results who post here saves just one person from the pain and suffering that we went through, it is worth it. Who in the world would want to waste 6,500 dollars on a surgery that does not work? And why in the world wouldn't you want to get a 2nd opinion? Did you get a 2nd opinion or did you base your decision on the infomercials and what the sales woman who pulled your skin back in the consultation room told you? Choices are good, free will is good, being informed is BETTER! For anyone who has the surgery and is happy, great, I am happy for that person. But come back in one year and let us know if the surgery is still holding up. Best, Chrystal Eckes.

JacFlash, who would want to go back to the same surgeon who messed up your face to begin with? What makes you think that they are going to do a better job the 2nd time around? Been there, refused to go back to the original surgeon who messed up my face. This surgery is not all that it is advertised to be. I'm glad that you seem to be pleased. But there are a lot more of us out there that the posts here reflect. No overseeing agency, no gram negative operating room, they can do whatever they want to you and are protected because you sign away your rights. Best, Chrystal Eckes.

I am not bitter, nor am I upset. I am warning people of the possible pitfalls of what can happen when they go to have a LSL and the 1/2 truths that are being advertised all over the TV & internet. I did my research, my doctor had glowing reviews and nothing bad listed with the AMA. That was before the company was fined for astroturfing by Cumo in NYC. Back when I had my LSL, there was basically nothing bad on the internet about them at all.
In all fairness, everyone should be aware. Lets face it, if one of their own doctors posts "BUYER BEWARE" wouldn't that make you think twice? No one should base plastic surgery on an infomercial. Again education is a good thing. Everyone should see more than one surgeon when undergoing an elective surgery. Pros and cons are part of the paperwork, and everyone should take the paperwork home and read all the mice type before signing on the dotted line.
I am glad that you are pleased with your surgery. Some of us were not that lucky. Please post again in a year and let us know if you are still pleased. I hope that you are. Best, Chrystal Eckes.

There is nothing to be jealous of and my anger has long passed. Don't feel sorry for me because I certainly don't feel sorry for myself. I will warn women as long as I have fingers to type with and a breath in my body. Everyone has a right to post on these boards. Please don't tell me to move on. I appreciate the fact that you are happy, others are not. Everyone should be made aware of the pitfalls of this outdated surgery. Best, Chrystal Eckes

THANK GOD I FOUND OUT ABOUT ALL THE PROBLEMS BEFOR I WENT THROUGH WITH IT. I HAD ALREADY GIVEN THEM A DEPOSIT. I WAS INTERESTED IN SAVING MONEY. I ALREADY HAD SOME WORK DONE 15 YEARS AGO BY THE AUSTIN WESTON GROUP AND THEY WERE AMAZING IN EVERY WAY SIO AFTER I CHANGED MY MIND I CALLED ON THEM AND GUESS WHAT.. THEY WERE CHARGING THE EXACT AMOUNT AS LSL AND FOR THAT YOU WERE OPERATED ON IN A HOSPITAL WITH A SYRGICALTEAM AND HAD AN ANATHESIOLOGIST AND WERE CALLED BY YOUR DOCTOR THAT NIGHT AND SEEN THE NEXT DAY AND THEN AGAIN IN A WEEK AND WERE GIVEN MEDS TO CONTROLL YOUR PAIN IF NECESSARY AND THE RESULTS WERE PERMANANT SUBJECT ONLY TO THE NORMAL AGING PROCESS. IM GLAD FOR ANYONE WHO HAD A DECENT RESULT WITH LSL BUT THERE ARE MUCH BETTER ALTERNATIVES OUT THERE THAT ARE NOT ANY MORE EXPENSIVE.
SINCERELY, SOMEONE WHO CARES
