Updated progress 4/28

Here are some pics from 4/28. I definitely have a few ripples where the sculpting was effective and created a dip in the surrounding tissue, but overall I feel that’s an acceptable trade off for the magical fat loss.

More photos

I can only upload so many at once, so this will be a few installments.
These images are ten weeks after the first treatment, and five after the second. Then, eleven and six, respectively.
You can see the dimpling under my right buttock, where the banana roll treatment was so effective it caused a dent (addressed that in the third treatment.) also, the divot where the middle-abs treatment was so effective is starting to become more prominent. All in all, the results were astounding me!

My Coolsculpting Journey

Five months ago, last December, I first heard about coolsculpting and was intrigued. My wedding is planned in June, so I thought, hey! Why not give it a try on my abdomen, maybe thighs, and see if it is as amazing a some have said. I work out eight hours a week, and rat well. I am currently at an optimal healthy weight for my height (5’9”). I have, previously, been severely underweight due to illness, and i know from experiences that there are areas of fat on my bod that will not go away no matter hat, even at that extreme. So, what if this is the answer? What if I can hav better definition at a healthy weight than I ever had underweight? Worth a shot, at least!
I went to Naficy in Bellevue, WA, where I met Louisa for a consult. She was warm, upbeat, and professional. She answered all of my questions and helped me figure out what treatments would be best. For my lower abdomen, she recommended two application, six weeks apart. About a week later, I went in for my first session.
For me, the discomfort was minimal during the procedure. My stomach ached afterwards as the tissue thawed, but it went away in about then minutes. The bloating lasted five-six days the first time on my abdomen, and was probably the worst part because it was hard to wear anything that put pressure there.
As weeks passed, I was impatient and eager to see change. And by about six weeks, the changes we undeniable —I was being reshaped as if by magic!
By this time I had already planned another appointment, to target the larger lower abdomen a second time. Let me tell you, by now I was hooked! I ended up getting several other treatments that day, and have been back twice more in the last two months — once a month Jan-April.
I only had my most recent treatment yesterday, so those results are pending, but I wanted to start recording everything in a review. I admit it — I think I’m a coolsculpting addict now!
Here is a list of the treatments I have had so far. Applicators are the petite size unless noted.
January:
Lower abdomen (large applicator)
Upper abdomen x2 (left/right)
Inner thighs x2 (left/right)
Banana roll x2 (left/right)
February:
Lower abdomen (large applicator)
Upper-upper abdomen x2 (left/right — the previous treatment had left an overhang of fat above where it had cleared off)
Outer thighs x2 (left/right)
Flanks x2 (left/right)
March:
Banana roll x2 (not the same area. Fat loss had created a dimple effect so we used the very tiniest applicators to try and even it out)
Arms x4 (upper-upper and lower-upper, left and right)
April:
Inside knees (Mini applicators x2)
Flanks x2 (I wanted to put these sort of vertically up my sides, but it didn’t work because the tissue that bothered me wasn’t enough fat, mostly skin — I think I’m going to try thermage next.)
Upper-upper abs x2 again
Again, Louisa is an incredible, experienced professional who I would recommend to anyone. I’m still waiting for my final results, but I am definitely going to feel great in my wedding dress and am so glad I did this!
