2 weeks PO

I had my 2 week PO appt today. So far so good!

I'm posting a side-by-side pic of before & 2 wk PO. I think it's a really big difference! Still swollen, but a vast improvement nonetheless.

PS did an excellent job on my incision. It is very low, so it's easily hidden! Even at 2 wks PO its a neat clean line. It will be hardly noticeable once it totally heals.

I have developed a hematoma between my belly button & rib cage. PS drained it Mon & got 55 ml of fluid. He drained it again today and got 32 ml. The draining is no big deal since that area is still totally numb!

I do still have 1 drain in. I'm almost feeling back to normal except for the extra appendage. That will hopefully come out next week. I have gotten very good at tucking it so it's not noticeable under clothes.

I do have a few knots in my lipo areas, but that seems to be par for the course. I was able to massage pretty aggressively tonight because some of the soreness has subsided. It's my understanding that these knots will go away on their and massaging them will speed up the process.

I'm so encouraged by how good I'm doing at 2 weeks! Can't wait to see continued progress!!!

48 hours post-op

Attached are a couple of quick pics 48 hours post-op. Still so far, so good!

Made it to the flat side!

Today is 2 days post-op and so far so good. I received Exaparel in my tummy area and I'm certain it's worth the $350 extra! I have had discomfort and some stinging in the incision, but mostly everything is just really tight. I can't stand up straight, but the I move the better it is.

I did throw up the evening after my procedure which was not good at all. PS said it was fine to take Phenergrin with the Vicodin. I was fine after I got that in my system.

The anesthesia also made it impossible for me to urinate. I wasn't able to go until about 18 hrs post-op and boy was I relieved to finally go! No BM yet, but I think my systems are still waking up.

Hubbies is going to help me out of the CG this afternoon so we can wash it (it's really gross from all the drainage. While it's washing I'm either going to shower or take a sponge bath. That should be interesting, but I'm dying to get cleaned up, so I'll be fine. I'll also try to get some pics then too.

A quick note on supplies... If you can get a power recline, it's a MUST! I rented one from Rent-A-Center. For $23/week.
